How come their backup QB's look like they could start and ours can barely make the offense go?

Luke McCown is making some nice throws.

Mallet is looking off guys and reading the D.

Hey I don't think Blogan or Sims can play in this league but saying McClown or Mallet show anything promising today or any other day is mind boggling.

Let's not confuse years in the NFL with production for either of those 2 because imo both stink.

Let's not confuse years in the NFL with production for either of those 2 because imo both stink.

I agree they are not good. But they are doing things our backups don't do and that was the point I was trying to make.

I guess I expect too much from our guys?

I think it's safer to say that peeps like JT & Sims have 1 solid outing in 4 or 5 against backups & mostly it come against guys who will have regular jobs soon just like me & you.

Good - don't want to rush him back, want him healthy all year.

Dave Pasch just commented in the pre game show that the coaches have concluded Logan Thomas doesn't have a future (with the unstated -- therefor he will be cut) - and that the only question is if Phillip Sims clears waivers to join the practice squad.

If this is true I would think we are watching other teams cuts at QB. Sims is no more a PS guy at this point and I don't see what other see in him.

IMO just a third string QB worth a season to look at. We know LT will never be.
