Meh, Not a big deal. I loved the badge when he was healthy but he's not worth the contract. He should have worked with the Cards to restructure after they rewarded him with a stupid contract when they didnt have to. He says he's loyal to the team but wont do what is best for the team in return. BYE!

Well why should he? It is a business after all. Keim was the dope who gave him the contract. 99.9% of these players hold no allegiance to any team...it's all about the benjamins to them. Keim tried to be nice in a cut-throat business and got burned...he only has himself to blame.

IF there's a bright side to this its we will have around the most cap space in the league next year...but also have the least amount of players under contract for 2019

Badger would have never agreed to an average deal to begin with. Then everyone would've been on keims jock for not paying him then.

Lol you all watched Badger last year he wasn't even close to the same player. Jared was a penalty and sack allowing monster. Everyone is going nuts That we released 2 players who absolutely sucked. rebuild mode lol this board is hilarious sometimes. I for one will gladly let Baker take over.

Sad to see him go. Bummed he wouldn’t renegotiate. Worried he might be good again elsewhere. Okay that we cut him.

Gang, this is what starting over looks like.
No it isn't. Starting over looks way better. We are still trying to sell to people that we are competing.

I think there was more positivity on this board going into the Derek Anderson season. Everyone take a breath

Mark Cuban just got fined 600k for admitting that the Mavs are in rebuild mode. I’m sure Goddell would love to fine someone in the NFL for saying the same thing.

Keim is a terrible salesman then

People on here believed in the AP trade.

They believe Sam Bradford is a good option.

They believe we can solve the future QB situation with the 15th pick in the draft.

They believe we can improve our offensive line without adding players.

Read the board. People are buying it.

Honey badger thinks he's a top DB per a message to Rappaport.

I wish him well, but if he thinks he's going to be a teams #1 DB, he's delusional.

His contact was longer than one year.

So there should have been more of a reason/desire to restructure.

The problem with the cutting is that it definitely doesn't make us stronger this year. With Fitz playing one more year, or window is likely shut or rapidly shutting. If you want to say that our window was already closed, then wasting 20M on Bradford for a 1 year deal makes no sense. Either you go all in for one more year or don't. This team can't make up its mind on how good it is or it can be. That's the most frustrating part.

Why do most people that feel Bradford won’t make it past game three refer to Bradford contract is a $20 million contract? Is that for convenience to drive home a point that holds no water? His contract is for $15 million plus incentives which could make it worth 20 million if he hits that I’m sure will all likely be happy… It even has built-in injury protection as well when you include all that his contract isn’t so ludicrous..

I did not believe in the AP trade and was pissed when it happened.

Sam Bradford is not a good option, but probably was our best option after cousins signed. Glennon is hot garbage.

The future QB situation can be solved by the 15th or later pick - it's not likely but it has happened before and will happen again - but odds are definitely against it, but odds are at best 50/50 for a top 5 picked qb so I hate people who act like that is a guaranteed success.

The OL can be slightly improved with better coaching - but no amount of coaching is going to make Wetzel a good tackle.

I don't think everyone is buying it.

I have calmed down considerably since yesterday, and I went back and re-watched the highlights from the first MN game last year and will use that and Mike McCoy's ability to squeeze blood from rocks as a painkiller for now. But you are correct, it isn't 20 million unless he plays all year, which means our offense was at least above average.

Just to be clear on my perspective, I think we’re screwed for years after losing out on Cousins. But Bradford was the best we could do, and his contract is structured ideally in my eyes.

I wouldn’t trade into the top 5 to save my girlfriend from being dropped into a pit of alligators. I don’t trust it at all. Sets us back 4 years with both the player and the lost picks. So, either stand pat at #15 and take a shot at Jackson with an enormous ceiling, or pray someone drops into the 7-10 range and make a move that doesn’t give up so much that we’re not forced to keep him if he’s terrible.

Don’t trade your valuable picks and you can use the draft on OL. Simple as that.

I’m trying to make the best out of what I think is a 3-4 year disaster.
