I made a few phone calls to a few people I thought would pass on my sentiments to Crow, and joked that oughta end this June Jones deal. That was about 8 hours ago.

I'm feeling damn powerful right now. ROFL

I think you were one of many who made similar phone calls that ended this debacle Gadd. The outcry for this was unbelievable. The Tim Floyd outcry was bad but nothing compared to this.

You couldn't get the hometown coach here, the highest paid coach in the nation, Mack Brown... but anyone else, perhaps.

You all must admit, at least this search is interesting. One minute it's the apocalyptic choice, Jones, the next it isn't and the sun peaks out from between the clouds again. The next it's Jones again.

Put it this way. Ohio St. is paying Urban Meyer $4 mil a year.

ASU is looking like a big joke to the entire nation with how incompetent they are. After they do hire a coach, there will be some who should get fired. I'm guessing one person will be Lisa Love. As for the next coach, maybe they should hire within.

Agree. This coach search needs to be documented and published in a book on how not to hire a coach.

No kidding. They'd never hire a Boise head coach ever again but they'd target their defensive coordinator who followed it up with Tennessee's worst two year stretch in school history. Wilcox might be good someday but English has a much superior resume right now.

Yeah. I'm not seeing that go very far, considering Love's job is not a traditional AD job and Crow likes that job description the way it is. I would love Haynes as an ASU AD, though, in a way I never wanted to see Herm Frazier in that position.
