I think Peter most likely gets the fire/radiation guy, Ted's power.

I am still not sure why he is sick or is having these dreams.

Of course he has always had dreams.

Wife and I think when Peter was fighting Sylar, he must have absorbed something from him that is making him see visions and maybe gave him whatever will cause the explosion.

He's allways had the dream visions, remember this is how the whole thing started out with him dreaming he could fly.

And this isn't the 1st time he has dreamed about doing something that in reality was someone elses powers (i.e. the flying dreams where it's his brother that can fly and he only can when near him), so he could just be dreaming about the exploding guy who's wife just died of cancer.

So explain to me why Sylar was able to get to Eden because she had the gun. I didn't understand why his powers didn't work before and they worked then.

He could pull Eden because (I'm guessing) that telekenesis (sp?) only works on inanimate objects. Eden could have stood there & convinced him to make a noose out of his pants & hang himself & things would have been fine. But that still doesn't make sense, I guess, because clothes are inanimate....somebody help here?

When Sylar was captured, Bennett said to him something like "your powers wont work here", which would lead me to believe that Bennett had built something that would cancel out the abilities of those with powers.

now, NOBODY really knew what kind of abilities that Sylar had. Bennet, Eden, the Hatian had never seen Sylar use his powers, so how could they have known that he had a telekenesis ability.

Eden may have gone down to where they were holding Sylar, turned off whatever Bennett had built (so she could use here psychic ability), and was going to make Sylar kill himself. he was then able to use his telekenesis, and pull Eden through the window....using the gun as the object of his telekenesis.

and just to throw this out there. i was originally under the impression that beyond just being to erase people's memories, the Haitian was also able to block someone from using there power.

but i now think that Bennett has that ability. he kept Matt (the telepathic guy) from reading his mind. he was also NEVER around when Isaac tried to use his painting the future ability, and left the room when Eden made him shoot up so he could paint. he is also never around when the Hatian erases people's minds.

with Mr. Bennett having that ability, he made have constructed something that mimics his ability.

good point, and I think it's possible--I think the Haitian dude has the power as well, at the very least. The Haitian was the only one in the bar when the cop couldn't read his mind, and the Haitian was the only one with Eden when she caught Sylar. Maybe the Haitian has to concentrate to use the power, whereas Mr. Bennett is "always on" so to speak. That would explain why Claire's hand didn't heal immediately when she cut herself, but was healed when they looked at it later.

Excellent point!! hadn't thought about that! I still say the Haitian has to concentrate to use his powers, but I guess that means Mr. Bennett isn't a 'negater'.

The concentrate part is up in the air.

Remember when the girl was trying to use her powers to talk Mr. Bennett into killing Sylar?

It immediately stopped when the Haitian walked around the corner.

Plus it'll keep the possibility that Mr. Bennett has powers. Which is hard to know at this point because he pretty much has the Haitian attached to his hip.

i had thought of that part in the show....but i had missed the few minutes leading up to the brother flying away. were they cornering him because they knew that he had some sort of power, or was it for some other reason? it wouldnt make any sense for them to chase him outside knowing that he could fly away.

because IF neither the Haitian or Bennett knew that the brother could fly, then their wouldnt be any reason for them to try and negate his power.

The lady was a neighbor of the Indian who created the list of people.

The Haitian was in the general area. If you recall at the end of the interview they went to the hallway and you eventually see that the Haitian was there.

i should have worded that part of my post a little different. i was more or less just jumping the the conclusion that it was Bennet doing the blocking. yeah, the Hatian was just outside the room when that part was going on, so he MAY be the one doing the blocking....but they may have shown him being there just to keep us guessing also.
