Hiro is still the bomb (no pun intended).

Love the sword stealing scene, when his powers are not quite working. He just kinda looks around, shrugs, and goes ahead with it. Great actor for the part.

Figured getting the cool sword would not be so easy. Wondering what is up with the symbol though. On an ancient sword? Hmmmm....

And thinking Linderman becomes a bigger character as season moves along.

i loved the invisible guy. looking forward to him being around and helping peter.

The invisible guy was actor who helped launch the new Doctor Who series and palyed the Doctor in season 1 (Christopher Eccleston). He is a good actor and I can't wait to see how his character plays out.

I just want the show to pick up the pace a bit. It's lost some momentum for me.

I love how Peter is looking to get away so he isn't the bomb but chooses the Nevada desert where the bomb guy is hiding out.
LOL

Overall a good episode. They sure do move pretty slow though.

I too like the invisible guy. I'm also glad that Claire's memory wasn't erased. Great episode.

EDIT: I agree that the show is very slow moving. I am so ready for it to pick up some speed.

Alright, I have question about this episode

It is assumed that Peter can take on someone else's power when he is in the vicinity of that person correct? However, in his dream he says that he's taken the power and cannot control it. But you don't see the radioactive man anywhere. Does this mean that Peter learns how to take on a power and keep it? Or am I missing something here?

That is a good question stompg. I know that Peter can take on the powers of others when he is around them, but didn't the dream start out that they were all in NYC? So it would make sense that Peter has the powers of the radioactive man. Makes ya wonder. I could be missing something too. I need to rewatch the episode, I was at work when it came on.

I think Peter is hanging on to the powers of the people he's around, but I don't think it's intentional. Especially since he's seeing the future. It could also be that because he's seeing the future, and it's all kind of hazy...maybe he's seeing radioactive man AS himself when it's really not himself...projecting himself into the vision or something. Dunno.
MAN, I love this show!

Yayo, the dream starts out with Peter lying on the ground and getting up and walking through all the cars. You see DL, Nicki, Matt Parkman, Hiro, Simone, Issac, Claire, Nathan, and even the invisible man but you never see the radioactive man (sorry, I forget his name). So, either Peter has learned how to keep a power after he has taken it or they are intentionally not showing radioactive man.

Linderbee, I thought about that at first as well but in the last episode Nathan specifically speaks to him as Peter. He tells him that he's not going anywhere. Also, if it's not Peter why would Simone run to him? The only answer I can come up with is that he's retaining the power somehow but that would seem to make him entirely too powerful for a show that supposed to show the balance of good and evil.

good point. I forgot about that. It's kind of weird, though, because nathan isn't that that good of a guy, you know? I think Radioactive guy's name is Tim? Maybe?
btw, I am way too into Heroes & asfn. I dreamt I met Jenna last night & she looked like Matt Parkman's wife. Weird.

Invisible man = awe sim. Holy crap that is a great addition. Peter definitely seeing the future in his dreams, as he hadn't seen the invisible guy yet. Peter is such a great character.

As is Nikki/Jessica...she is getting very good at switching between characters. Snapping that baton was sick...Ali is acting very well in this show.

Radioactive Man is learning to control his power...that scares me.

I think Peter is going to learn to keep the powers he comes into contact with, without slicing their heads open like Sylar. He's the Ghandi of power-snatching.

Can't wait to meet this freaking Linderman guy...they better have a certifiable badass for this role, because he's getting built up a ton. He's the man behind the man behind the man, while still being the man. Wild.

Claire and Zack back together again, how sweet. More Haitian talking I like. He's cool and not nearly the scary presence he once was.

Hiro is hilarious, especially talking to Nathan "Flying Man." He is so damn awesome.

Oh, and abomb is a jerk for not watching this show. I wonder how long it will take him to read that.

He also played a heckuva good role as the Major in 28 Days Later.

So, are we thinking that ...

Peter is going to Nevada in hopes of preventing himself from blowing up the city when, in fact, he will go to Nevada, meet radioactive dude and then gain radioactive man's power because he came in contact with him and, thus, be able to blow up a city?

That's what I'm thinking.

I don't think so.

I would think if that's the case, he would blow up right away in Nevada, not wait until New York.

I think they meet in New York for the first time.

Then you obviously don't have a great mind. :p

Perhaps. Maybe he and radioactive guy cross in transit or something. And, while in Nevada, Peter learns something about the guy that brings him (Peter) back to the city.

BTW, is radioactive guy the caveman from the GEICO commercials? They look a lot alike methinks.
