I really like that he has developed some coping mechanisms. I would take him in a heart beat if he fell to us at 24-----he would probably be the best athlete on the board AND be a perfect fit for our D-line. He would be a 3 down guy as opposed to Dan Williams. He would also bring some real meanness to the position that was mostly just being 'filled' by Williams presence for two downs. We could use a lot of that----especially after losing Dockett. Campbell is waaay too conservative and maybe Shelton could put some fire in Campbell's belly. He could make our D-line VERY special.

Nice work K-9.

Really interesting story on Shelton. Teams obviously already know this stuff, but it's something that may cause him to slip on draft day.

Why would any of that cause him to slip. If anything it would make teams want to take him.

He sounds like he's really grown up and had been moving in the right direction. For some years now. I would love to have this guy on our team. He's a stud.

According to Bill Polian, on the NFL Channel, no one who has run as slow as Shelton, 40 yard dash, has been successful in the NFL. I have no idea if that's true.

Yeah because everyone knows when drafting a 300lb + nose tackle his 40 time is what matters most
