7 coaches in 8 seasons. Tied for the worst record in the league during that span.
Nah, the Suns are already a joke. Not sure they can be any bigger of a joke, unless they pass on Zion.
Good luck wishing on that star. Unless he has a huge heart/mind change, that will not end well. He does not possess that want/will/drive. He certainly can be a component, but not the centerpiece.Whoever they bring in needs to have experience and be capable of implementing a system that features Ayton.
Thank you
That is at least two of us think alike.
1. We won 19 games.
2. McDonough hired him
3. Appears to be lacking communication skills
That is enough reasons for me

must be some twisted universe we live in where the 2nd worst team in the NBA, which regressed from the year before despite more talent and underachieved predictions can't fire its head coach without being attacked for it.
What do you call a team/owner that has 7 coaches in 8 seasons?
I’m ambivalent about Igor. That said, this team has shown they can’t get the hire right.
This helps clear out more of the stench in the room, that was left behind after McDonough was whacked.
I see no problem with it.

I had been looking for comments after Bowers was hired that included Kokoskov in the Suns future.
I couldn't find any. Now we know why.
We didn't hear anything from the front office but Woj said we had been intending to give Koko another year. So, something must have changed and the safe pick IMO is that feedback from players tipped the scales. I was against firing him because I don't believe he's had a fair shake and I wanted to avoid adding to our leading status in the coach firing industry - but player dissatisfaction (assuming it existed) is a good reason to move on.
FIFY. I love what Ayton might be some day when he realizes what he could be. Saying he is what you said, now (you know, when Igor was coach), seems disingenuous to me. How many times during the year did Ayton tell us what he was going to do - and then never did any of it?I disagree, Aytons shooting % when he decides to shoot, rebounds when he decides to rebound (without boxing out), and passing skills (because he can throw the ball?) makes him a perfect piece to center an offense around.
