Possibly, these would be the same Broncos that keep missing the playoffs depite having a shiney new stadium and spending more $$ than almost anybody else (the top slot vairies from year to year, but the Broncos are always up there).

Do you mean those Broncos ?

I guess we will know sometime in late December.

At a few positions at least.

Although Clinton Portis (the Poor Man's Willis McGahee) is a stud.

At Miami Portis would always tell McGahee "You'll never be as good as me."

I'd take our entire secondary over the Broncos'.
I'd also take Hodgins over Mike Anderson.

O'neal and kennedy arent too shabby. But i see where you are coming from. I'd personally take anderson becuase he can block, run, and catch. With their line you dont need a blocking FB. Hodgins is 1 dimensional while anderson is a triple threat.

As a unit their line is outstanding, but I would definately consider Kendall and Davis individually better, at least equivalent.

The O-line is a push. If our line was healthier they might be better.

How is TE debateable? Sharpe is the best the game has ever known plus he is a serious trash talker which i like.

It's debatable now because he's past his prime. "Best the game has ever known" is pretty debatable too. Kellen Winslow was the best TE I ever saw, and Gonzales has more talent than Sharpe ever did.

Definately on paper, and if you go by the last game played, they're about 79 touchdowns and 5,684 rushing yards better.

Well...you got what you asked for.

All I ever said in wanting to keep Jake, was that he is a gamer, a winner, and we'd never get a viable alternative to Jake. Jeff Blake was the closest thing to a viable alternative that was available to us, so prove me wrong Jeff Blake. Show me that you do have a heart, and prove all your naysayers wrong. Go ahead, I dare ya.

When has Jake ever been a winner in the NFL? If anything he is a loser.

Last year, and on paper right now, no doubt about it. But, the great thing about the NFL is that it is the least predictable of all the major sports leagues right now. Every year, highly touted teams struggle, and "bad" teams surprise everyone.

LOL yeah wat a horrible game, i had to turn it off. BTW i believe sharpe has most rec, TD's, and yards by any TE. He was still better than jones last year.

Nope, not true at all. Sharpe is an overrated tweener. Too slow to be a wide receiver, not big enough to be a true tight end.

I've said it before ill say it again, w/out him the cards would still not have a playoff win in over 60 years. I consider that a win. But you are the ultimate Jake basher so you wont ever think anything he does will be good enough.

What a dumb stereotype. How does he have the records then? O yeah because he is an "overrated tweener."

 Sure, what ever you say. But Jake's career record speaks for itself. If he was such a winner it would be different.

He isn't a good blocker, which makes him a tweener.

I'll take Mark Bavaro over him anyday.
