Tonight is a chance for the Suns to get it right after frittering away the game in the final minutes yesterday. The Suns were shut out in the final three and half minutes not to mention a bundle of turnovers committed by Dragic in the closing minutes. Also it looks like Bledoe may not play again tonight which does not brighten my day.

See the Paul Coro article at azcentral dated 11-20-13 in link below for additional information.

Kings (3-7) at Suns (5-5) … 7 p.m. Phoenix tip

C: DeMarcus Cousins … Miles Plumlee

PF: Jason Thompson … Channing Frye

SF: Luc Mbah a Moute … P.J. Tucker

SG/PG: Ben McLemore … Gerald Green OR Eric Bledsoe

PG: Greivis Vasquez … Goran Dragic

Key Kings injuries: Carl Landry (torn left hip flexor) is out.

Key Kings reserves: Isaiah Thomas, Patrick Patterson, Marcus Thornton, John Salmons, Hamady Ndiaye, Travis Outlaw, Chuck Hayes, Jimmer Fredette.

Is anybody else a little bit concerned about Bledsoe's pain tolerance? A bruised shin? That doesn't seem like it would be enough to keep somebody from playing. I haven't heard that injury too often for why a guy was sitting out.

He should be back for tonight's home&home game. I want to believe that he sat out yesterday because he thought it would lessen his performance.

We sure needed a go-to guy at the end. But not one who may have been hobbling.

Of course, we had him in the preceding game and still lost on the last play.

I am not blaming the Suns. This is all part of the development of a very young team.

Once playing soccer I was kicked and my shin bruised. Next two days I barely could walk and running/playing any sports with potential contact was out of question for 3 weeks.

The problem is the shin doesn't have any "protection", there is only a thin skin and the bone itself gets damaged directly.

OK, that makes some sense, hcsilla. I guess I've never had that particular injury.

Contract year for Bledsoe and a rebuilding year for the Suns.

It makes sense for him to sit out a whole game unless he is pretty much ready to go. No point risking further injury or having a subpar performance because he is playing injured. Plus, it give the coaching staff a chance to look at Archie.

Call it tanking if you like.

Playing Archie is everything but tanking. He is exciting to watch now and figures to only get better. IMO, his ceiling is unlimited.

He moves so quick and smooth. Man, when he learns how to shoot consistently... oh my! In a few years I think he will prove to not only be the steal of that class, he could be the best of the bunch.

It's amazing he fell to #29. This gives McDonough some slack at picking Len at #5.

Frye is such garbage. What an idiot, why didn't he retire.

What happened to good Markieff?

He realized playing inside can be hazardous to your health. The Suns have no help inside for Plumlee. Frye and Tucker are doing nothing as well.

4 straight losses.

in the words of Barkley: Bad teams win at the beginning of the season because they don't know they're bad yet.

this team, without Bledsoe is bad and I do believe that when the season shakes out, even with him back, they'll probably continue to be. maybe not the depths I thought before the season started, but still bad enough to get us a lot of ping-pong balls.

Gerald Green is the man. I would like to see him and Bledsoe start in the backcourt, bringing the dragon off the bench to provide spark

I think its time to unleash Kravtsov! He couldn't do worse than Frye or the recent edition of Markieff...

Well what do you know, Markieff is exactly who we thought he was.

Well, some of us, anyway.

Last week we thought we might have found a legit 4 in Markieff - wrong. Who knows what he is. He has been horrible.

Some think that we would be foolish to move Goran - wrong.

While it is early and things could change it is obvious to me that we somehow need to draft one of the three studs (Randle, Parker or Wiggins) next summer and sign Bledsoe to whatever contract it takes to keep him.

We need to find a legit go to guy as a sidekick to Bledsoe.

I also would consider trading Goran if the right deal appears. No rush but he is not the point guard to lead this team to the promised land and not big enough to play the two night in night out. He could bring something of value going forward. I like the guy and think it could be considered cruel to trade a guy that came here because he wanted to. However we need use all available assets to build this team properly.

I think we are stuck with Markieff so we somehow have to get him productive, until his contract runs out or he gets it.

Coach Hornacek will earn his paycheck going forward. I expect him to do the right things.

I really like what I see in Green, so start him with Bledsoe and bring Goran off the bench, please. If you must have Goran start then put Green at the 3 and put Tucker on the bench.

This team is just not the same without Bledsoe.

It is going to cost us to keep him. Hopefully we do.

Our offense didn't suffer without Bledsoe, despite Markieff's contribution falling off a cliff, but our defensive rating sure took a hit.

I think the team is just settling down into it's correct pecking order. It's not going to be as good as it appeared at first with the great start but it's also not going to be nearly as bad as the pundits thought before the season started. We'll be one of the bottom third teams but not at the very bottom. These guys give very good effort but they don't have the overall talent to compete with the best.
