Doh!!Well Mike Jureki is speculating that we have a deal in place with Mihm. Nice prep work.

The Suns are still one Eric Piatkowski over the LT. Right now they'd end up paying about $1 million in LT.
The thing that I dont get is not only do the Suns get nothing in return, but they traded away KT, and 2 picks to Seattle and James Jones and a first round pick to Portland.....Both teams are in the Suns division!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who is left that is worth the MLE? If we bring in PJ Brown for the MLE I'm going to shoot somebody.I was thinking there might not be much fallout for this, but now I'm starting to wonder. Wasn't the justification for selling the last two first-round picks that the Suns were "loading up" to prepare for paying the lux tax this year? If they get away from the lux tax entirely, it will throw those other moves back into the conversation.
For the moment, I'll stick to my own theory, which is that this was a necessary precursor to the Suns spending their MLE. I'll be interested to see what that brings in.
I doubt Kerr was itching to trade away future assets and players for nothing.
This move is purely front office greed. NBA GM's don't give away something for nothing unless their boss is breathing down their neck telling them to.
I wonder if Hill was told that this would happen before he agreed to come here?
Yeah like trading the Atlanta pick to the Lakers for Mihm.Well Mike Jureki is speculating that we have a deal in place with Mihm. Nice prep work.
PJ Brown and Matt Barnes or Mickael Pietrus and the Suns would be in great shape.

How could Thomas guard Duncan? He got owned badly, he gave a great effort but it didnt slow Duncan at all.
Perhaps this is a precursor to signing PJ Brown? I guess we'll find out sooner or later.
As sad as it is to say, you are dreaming if you think that's even remotely possible. They might sign Brown or Mihm, but they can't touch Barnes and Pietrus is in love with Dallas.
Kerr still is going to take a lot of crap, that's probably why he was hired. Keep the heat off Sarver so he can jaunt around Scottsdale without his Benz getting egged.I can't totally disagree with you, but I also think this is the honeymoon syndrome, if Kerr made this deal in year 3, he would be taking a lot of heat.
I was thinking the same thing. I remember stretches that Thomas did a good job on Duncan, but far more that Duncan had little trouble. How could Thomas guard Duncan? He got owned badly, he gave a great effort but it didnt slow Duncan at all.
mihm re-upped with the Lakers.
Here are interesting FAs we could look at now
Andray Blatche
PJ Brown
Devin Brown
Jarvis Hayes
Marc Jackson
Brevin Knight
Mickael Pietrus
James Posey
Ruben Patterson
Anderson Varejao
Matt Barnes
Chris Webber
Kerr is following ORDERS...
James Jones, Kurt Thomas and three first round picks for.....NOTHING!
