I agree with your assertions above, but the data set you posted doesn’t do much to support this particular thesis.

You’re seeing a lot of equally or more plausible interpretations with Kyler’s unwillingness to make deep passes that the chart also supports, because the chart doesn’t say what you want it to.

There aren’t deep passing routes in Petards offense. We have all seen this offense struggle with any play over 7 yards. Hell even when we convert a 3rd and long the preferred route is 5 yards short of the sticks hoping the wr can yac for the first.

2nd and long Petzguy chooses to run the ball and follow that up with another run. JC goes down and the dude still runs Michael Carter like he is some showcase back. It’s insane.

One of the main reasons that McBride doesn’t have a TD is because the routes he runs in this offense are short of the goal line. The best Petzguy could scheme to get McBride a TD was a pathetic failed shovel pass.

Pardon me friends..... I have a Kyler fantasy football question in the fantasy sports forum and wanted to ask it over here since no one seems to go to that forum very often. There is a poll and I need calmer heads to prevail and cast their vote. I hate him so much this week that I think it may be clouding my judgement but wanted all of you to weigh in on that before tonight's game. Going to post here and in the gameday thread.

Somehow.... I made my championship game with Kyler as my QB1.

40yd and 50yd td bonuses for rushing and passing.
100yd and 300yd passing and rushing bonuses.
1pt per 10yds rushing
1pt per 25yds passing.
6pt passing td's and rushing td's.
-2pt's for INT's & fumbles.

My main question is this. Do I stick with him in LA or go with someone like Bryce Young in a hopeful shootout in Tampa?

Link to Poll here:

There were early in the season and with the passtronaut. What has changed since, except for a gun shy QB who refuses to test defenses beyond 20 yards?

“Petzguy” is such a dumb and offensive moniker. He’s handcuffed by a spineless QB. This is a top 15 offense. Petzing may not be Ben Johnson but he’s no worse than an average play caller.

Seems to me MHJ got deep twice against the Rams in the first game. IIRC

I’m talking about your statement. Yes the te’s and backs get a lot of balls thrown to them.
It doesn’t say that. McBride gets a lot of targets, but backs get less than 20% of the team’s target share.

Surprisingly, Michael Carter got five targets in his first week. Kyler keeps playing more and more scared.

Petzguy treating Carter like he’s Achane

"Petzguy???" Wow has your Murray fan-boy syndrome taking you to extremely low places...

The first Rams game itself, entirely disproves your entire premise and attack on our OC.

We are the 5th ranked running team and 20th ranked passing. Petards offense is one dimensional and has been exposed by good teams.

If you think it's Petz that's checking it down almost every pass, boy have I got some news for you .

He even stated earlier in the year the K1 needs to slow down and let the play develop. It seemed he did for one game and then back to his old ways

Kurt said the same thing on an earlier YouTube video.

End of an era.

Dont really "fault" him for the ints. But for whatever reason (maybe its mostly him idk). He cant seem to get it done in AZ.

Both Kyler and the Cardinals need to end it this offseason. Probably best for both.

Promoting Drew Terrell or bringing back Petzing does nothing for me either (with Kyler). Gotta end it.

Curious to see how Gannon and Monti approach Kyler this offseason. Do they still sing Kyler’s praises and laud him as some transcendent talent like they have the past two seasons, or do they become more objective about his porous play and start to challenge him to be better? The right answer is to find a way to get rid of him, but I know that’s not happening, so the best thing they can do is stop kissing his ass and tell him that this is unacceptable.

It is possible to rid of Kyler, but who’s gonna trade anything of value for him?

I am baffled at how he has managed to fail at every critical moment post the bye. It's almost statistically improbable for him to be this anti-clutch.
