Nobody is suggesting a 30 minute film breakdown of Kirk Cousins problems by Kyler Murray. Strawman crap.
Be real. 30 minutes is extreme, but you know that was your intended message until you realized it was silly.

A "Prepping for the game' video that shows a typical week that includes coverage of how he studies would fit easily with what he's doing.
Here ya go. That's a QB that's wants to win at all costs.

Can you tell me how you know this?

And no, it’s not “obvious” either cause I feel like that’s going to be your response.

Because he's likely earning $25+ per year with sponsorship deals and the money from the sub 200k average views is nothing.

Also, if you're on Youtube trying to make money then putting out 6 videos in 17 weeks, and only when you win, isn't the way any social media manager would do it.

And lastly, if he was doing it for views and money it would be videos of him playing COD.

He's doing it for brand rehabilitation and nothing else.

It's very strange if/that you can't see that these are exactly the same.

One example of video study being visually compelling is from the Hard Knocks: In Season. It might have been episode one, where Colt McCoy was alone in a hotel ballroom watching film the night before the Mexico game.

It doesn't have to be "Let me tell you how I see weaknesses in safety X". All it needs to be is him showing his setup and saying "Watching film, studying opponents is really important to me. I probably spend 10, 15 hours a week here. In game A I learned B from film and used it in situation C." People emphasize what they care about.

This post is agreeing with me, this is exactly what I said he should be doing.

Yeah I read that back in the day. It's an interesting and compelling read which is why I know the "Nobody wants to watch that stuff" is nonsense.

I'm not saying Kyler should do something so in depth, but people would certainly watch a video of an NFL QB that had elements of this.

Vet QBs like who? I wouldn’t waste time watching this team(or offense) if we sign a Cousins or Fields.
Is this really true? Are you saying we won’t see you posting here if they do that? That would legitimately be a shame. I also don’t believe you. As a cardinals fan you’ve seen worse.

And the 2026 QB class looks like Allar(who is already polarizing) and……Klubnik? I’m pretty sure Arch will stay all 4 years. Sellers is dynamic, but I know most still have questions about his passing
We also don’t know who else might be in that class. See Joe Burroughs.

Kyler probably already does these things. End result is that it doesn’t even matter because he’s too limited physically.
Except we don’t know that. That’s conjecture. The small bits of evidence we do have remain kylers ill-chosen comments that he doesn’t live in the film room and the cardinals study clause fiasco. We have no evidence since then that anything has changed.

Man that quote was 6 years ago.

I mean in my post you quoted, I said it doesn’t matter even if he does because he’s too limited physically.
Agree. It’s old. But it’s also like the only evidence (with the study clause) on the topic. We’ve seen him working out like mad. But we haven’t seen much about increase study habits. If there were evidence to contradict his own words I’d say his words were ancient history. But there doesn’t seem to be any. So then it’s just pure conjecture.

I personally would love to see what anyone else could do in this offense. We have definitely seen enough of K1.

Well, I can’t blame him from a human-aspect since football isn’t life. Sure, it sucks for the fanbase, but he still has to focus on his family & himself at the end of the day.

I don’t think it would change his on-field play. That’s the point here.
I don’t know how you can say getting better at pre-reading a defense can’t make him better on the field. Even with physical limitations the only way to get better is to get more cerebral.

Daves,

Thanks for this trip down memory lane. Now, how about something that supports his lack of attention to the details of his position since Monti and Co. arrived on the scene?

One word, one sentence, one paragraph, one raised eyebrow.
There might not be. But show us the opposite. If that doesn’t exist either we have to rely on the only evidence we have, the stuff Daves listed. Otherwise you’re just living in make believe make stuff up fantasyland.

Nah, I’ll still post. I’ll watch the defense, just not the offense.

We don't need videos showing him going above and beyond prepping for the mental aspects of the game. Something, anything, that he puts out to indicate he does this, would put to bed a lot of doubts. He (and his PR team) will absolutely be aware of this and would have done so already, IMO, if he had been doing so.
Right. I wouldn’t watch a vid of him watching vids. Though admittedly I don’t watch his workout, eating or anything else vids. I would like to hear about his dedication in the film room. I haven’t.

Kyler Murray has 550 rushing yards and 5 rushing touchdowns this season. If he gets to 600 yards and 6 TD on Sunday, it will trigger a $750,000 contract incentive
Sit him and play tune

He's making enough money and it would send a message
