These are just stats so don't get pissy. I didn't have an agenda looking into it.

Kyler Murray finishes:

QBR: #9
Passing Yards #11
Completion % #7
TD Passes #13
INTs thrown #14
Traditional QB Rating #18
QB Rushing Yards #4

Probably QB 12-14 in the league.
Yep, the ultimate mid. What the stats don't factor in is his choke factor. He would be #1 in the league in choke factor. He is the Buffalo Bills of modern QBs.

He may not get that chance with the Cards.
As much as I think they should cut bait with Kyler, they’re not going to this offseason, Stout. And this last “great” performance in the final regular season preseason-esque scrimmage against the ghost of the 49ers was the final mail in those hopes’ coffin.

You know it and I know it.

According to that, Kyler is sacked an average 1.36 times a game in wins and 2.7 times a game in loses. So, just about double. Protect Kyler and give him time and we win!
Or, often, if Kyler doesn't panic and go fetal, we win! All sacks aren't on the OL.

They got them Kyler Hate glasses affixed permanently, makes it hard to see anything but "Kyler bad"
Compared to Kyler, Josh Allen has fewer yards per game, more touchdowns, fewer interceptions, and his team is 13-4 and he is in the discussion for MVP (which will probably go to Lamar Jackson). Yet no one would mix those two (Murray and Allen) up when it comes to being clutch or willing their team to an important win.

Kylers passer rating by week.

Sucks after week 10 then lights up when the season is over in 16 and 17.

Yikes for week 3 though. Bet the under on week 3 guys.

Kyler isn’t even a game manager at this point
This is where some of you guys give the Kyler Clan too much ammo. He’s absolutely a game-manager.

That’s just not good enough if you want to consistently be in the playoffs more than once every 6 years.

if we don't "cut bait" with kyler we don't draft a top tier qb

kyler's mediocrity will have us drafting #16 in the draft after this one so it isn't all about money and cap hits - it's about biting the freaking bullet - doing something different for a change so things can change

start tune in 2025 - bring in some half dead re-tread to back him up - if we're going to suck let's commit to said suckiness so we can get out of the suckiness asap

I would not want us to sign Darnold. But he did win 14 games and had a fabulous year. Red zone killed the Vikings. I guess we can relate to that , huh?

Yep difference in our season in a nutshell, first half before the bye we were best in the NFL in the redzone at getting TD's, after the bye we were terrible

Yes Allen is better, what's your point?

I think it’s clear. Kyler doesn’t have “IT”. He has “ IT” once in a while. He has to work on schedule with a running game.
Guys like Allen , Lamar, and MaHomes can put their team on their back with just their arm. If their team was held to 40 yards rushing they could still produce.
Kyler most of the time needs all the stars to be lined up. Not hating, just saying.

"All the stars lined up"

This is funny because I don't ever remember this happening ever in K1s career.

I have called K1 a gagger but this hyperbole really needs to go the way of the dinosaur.
K1 has had maybe 1 season with a really good team. The rest have been average to pretty poor.

It ain’t going away my friend until Kyler shows he can win under pressure.

Some people in here sound like those guys whose wife cheated on them like 5 times with different guys but this time she's going to change.

We all know exactly who he is now, and nothing is going to change. MHJ can become Mike Evans and it won't change the fact that Kyler isn't good at reading defenses, it's good at seeing the field and chokes when it matters.

We may have to live with another year of it, but if you can get a good trade for him in a weak QB year I'd take it and roll for a year with Russ Wilson or Jimmy G, and before anyone says Kyler is better, he's really not. He's different, he has higher peaks, but he's really not better.

If you can get anything that adds up to round 2/3 value take it and run.

Kyler's record from week 8 onwards sucks.

Yes let's get Jimmy G in here.
this is the guy i want next year. Imagine how much he could overthrow Marv or Wilson by if they were wide open in the Super Bowl.

Also known as the Cleveland plan: 40 starters in 24 seasons.

You all need to look at the QBs that are going to be in the 2026 draft before you think we can't draft a Murray replacement even at like 15. If we are drafting in the 20s I still might take a QB

Throwing this game in the face of Kyler skeptics is peak misunderstanding the terms of the debate.

Kyler is a front-runner who doesn’t come through when the chips are down or the season is on the line.

But I’m glad for your victory lap on this 8-9 season.
Right? This is just confirmation of what kyler is . . . a dude that plays his best when the lights are out. When they’re at their brightest he plays his worst.
