Right. The Lions aren't injury ravaged and the Chargers are stacked rosters lol

Your cognitive dissonance is amazing in its consistency. Say hi to your daddy Kyler for me!

This is a spot on post.. if he’s not running 8+ a game then he will never reach his potential.

Running more is part of the fix, agree. In key situations especially. In the red zone.

This year overall his rushing production wasn't too bad though. 570 yards, 5 TDs, 7.3 per. Almost five carries per game. Not super far from where it needs to be. Need maybe another 180 yards, and three or four more TDs.

Second, being good in the clutch/in December/in playoff clinching/season saving games. To me, this probably the biggest thing that's holding him and team back. No idea how or even if K1 can fix this, but if he can't he's doomed, and we're doomed at least until he's off the team.

Third (roster), I think overall the pass pro could be a little better, and we need a little upgrade to the WR room. A little more speed/twitch/YAC from the WR group. But, this might be considered a luxury for 2025, so Murray might have to make due without this next season.

But fix one and two (a gigantic ask, I understand) and Murray will be much better. Back in the MVP convo I dare say.

Imo...it was...for Kyler.

When his physical limitations would limit him from throwing over the middle/dealing with pressure Kiiff needed to pivot. When defenses got a read on him they needed to counter with a power rushing attack/play action from under center.

I've said this but despite K1s flaws I'll wonder if we'll look back and wonder was the new offense an over correction.

Now again maybe K1 would still screw it up in the 2nd half of the season. I just would have thought from watching his 2019-2022 film JG would see that he sorta needs that mix of uptempo (when its effective) and at least some screen passes to Wrs.

Where I cant defend Kyler, anymore, is that he wants this offense. He loves Petzing and believes its good that he doesn't have to carry an offense (which is reasonable...but looks bad when watching Jayden Daniels carry the Commanders).

All is not lost my friend. This offensive group was 11th in yards and 12th in points, but they have not reached their ceiling. Now their shortcomings have been laid bare.

Let's let them work together all offseason. Let MO make one or two moves.

I don't think it's unreasonable to say this group, led by the brave and courageous Kyler Murray, could be a top ten unit in 2025.

Sideways football can be successful when you have the right quarterback running the offense.

Does it piss you off as much as it does to me when all of our former players go on to more successful careers elsewhere? I mean.... The list is so long at this point.

I can't tell you how much I hate the franchise that owns my team. They effing suck.
