This Murray kid is the real deal and has ties to KK. Word is they stay in touch.
The writings on the wall too, KK recruited him out of high school and stated late last year that he would draft #1 overall if given the chance. It’s even possible that Murrays been talking to Kingsbury all along and has helped him make up his mind. I just wonder if KK has free reign to make this decision or does Keim/Bidwill want to keep Rosen? Question is do they have the balls?
I say do it! ...Take a chance and shock the league! We definitely have nothing to lose cuz I’ve seen enough of Rosen to know he’s nothing special and is a work in progress.
Also, people need to stop freebasing on the KK hype video, where you'll find a lot of coaches blowing sunshine up the opposition's butt to make them feel good.
Kyler was Kliff's favorite recruit in the 2015 high school class. Recruited him pretty hard. I think he legitimately would take Murray #1 if he had the power to do so, but he doesn't have that power. I would be stunned if the Cardinals front office goes along with that idea.

Bad post, especially the "nothing to lose" part.
Say you draft Murray and you either cut/trade Rosen or Rosen beats Murray out in camp (very likely), you just whiffed mightily on your #1 draft pick when you could've had a Nick Bosa-type of pass rusher.

Maybe I gave our fans too much credit, but I'm disappointed in how you and others have taken that video as gospel. I got a chuckle out of it and left it at that. Some held onto it as some sort of Lavar Ball situation in which it was going to be spoken into existence.
It's also funny how you reference Rosen as "a work in progress." You think Murray isn't a work in progress? I'm not going to lay out again the adversity Rosen was faced with last season, but only to say one cannot say that they've "seen enough." Murray started one full season in college, and although he was successful, it indicates that he does not have the experience that others have coming out of college.
I'm not saying Murray wont be successful, but for a team with the #1 pick, depth issues across the board, and QB not even a top-5 need, burning a high pick on Murray or anyone else would be foolish.
Sir, how about you wait until after the combine before you make your final judgement on Murray?
If we didn't have a QB on the roster, sure, I could see KK making a move to draft Murray, but QB isn't even a top 5 need on this team and that #1 pick could either notch us a day-one impact player or multiple high picks via a trade. Personally, I think it's foolish to even consider Murray based on 1) His height, 2) Josh Rosen already on the roster and 3) We have numerous deficiencies that go above and beyond the quarterback position.
Plus, it's a non-starter. KK and the FO have already committed publicly to Rosen being the QB in this offense.
I think if you really and truly believed that last line TJ, you'd lead off with it, and wouldn't waste so much time arguing against Murray as an NFL player.
But I think you also understand that you should never say never. Especially when it comes to the NFL.

At this point, Rosen has essentially received a "vote of confidence" from the Cardinal's leadership. How much is that worth exactly sir?
And sure, I'll grant you that today, the Cardinals seem more likely to go with Rosen.
But the Murray hype train is about run right over Josh's face. Lol... and if Murray blows up the combine, then you can book he'll be holding up a Cardinals jersey at 9:03 EST on 04/25/19.

A slim chance looking at modern history. But point taken. There is a chance accuracy can be improved thru coaching.Do you know any coaching that can make a QB taller?
Not true I’ve stood by bothBaker is about 4 inches (maybe 5 inches) taller than Kyler. .
Not true I’ve stood by both
I meant he’s at least 5’9” because that’s my height & many here say he’s 5’8”. And Baker was 6’ 5/8” at the combineYou said yourself Kyler is 5-9. Baker is 6-1, so that's a 4 inch difference.
Baker measured in at 6 feet 1 inches. And to get technical 6 feet and 0.625 inches (rounded up to 6'1".Baker is about 4 inches (maybe 5 inches) taller than Kyler. Plus it seems like Kyler relies a lot on his legs to run downfield, whereas Baker would use his legs mostly to extend plays for a throw downfield. Kyler is incredibly fast and I have never seen anyone get a good hit on him, but the NFL is a different level of speed/strength.
While you're not wrong, the Patriots showed that defense still wins championships and IMO, standing pat and taking Bosa is the way to go. A healthy Bosa is a game changer. He and Jones as bookends will make us one of the most formidable defenses in the league.Look.... This debate is wonderful. And I have spilled my guts about this on both the Suns and the Cards board.
IMHO: Luka Doncic was the right pick in the NBA and Kyler will most likely be the right pick in this draft.
We have a long way to go but it cannot be disputed that the way the NFL is trending with it's rules changes..... the way the offenses are being tailored towards quicker passing, and RPO style playcalling....... Kyler is just born to do it.
Josh is not.
And with how bold we were to go after a coach like KK..... Why would we stop there and not totally commit fully?
And finally.......... We get an extra year of rookie salary scale.
All of this would require a good haul for Rosen. Like the Jags pick. Or maybe even the Giants.
Bosa is still the right call at #1. But if we can get to #3 through #6..... I would do a rosen trade in a heartbeat. Kyler moving up to #1 would require god-like combine numbers with immaculate interviews.
