Mavs playing with a brand new team with guys like Zaza Pachulia (who?), Wesley Matthews (coming off ACL injury and not 100%, Deron Williams and Dwight Powell and are whooping the Suns ass in Phoenix.

I get that we have new guys in Chandler, healthy Knight, Teletovic, Leur etc but this is ridiculous.

Hey guys, the Suns are back! I almost forgot how terrible they were at times last season. Now I remember.

Wow... Suns show a little life, get to within 14 then give up 3 ridiculously easy hoops and turn it over twice with just lazy, terrible defense...

Suns fans deserved more than their team getting blown out at home on opening night.

It seems I grow more apathetic every year about the Suns.

Its crazy to hit the panic button after one game but that was defenitely not very encouraging.

This is all on coaching. There is no reason whatsoever to go 13 deep in a regular season NBA game. None.

Especially when I keep hearing the Suns are going to hang their hat on defense. I don't see it.

Chandler, Len, Tucker and Morris combined for just under 51 minutes. Oh well, if nothing else they contributed 12 fouls in those 51 minutes.

Not just 13 deep, but 13 deep early in the 2nd quarter. That seems insane to me. I'd use Bledsoe, Knight, Tucker, Markieff, Chandler, Booker, Warren, Weems, Len and Leuer and save the other players for garbage time.

Stupid substitutions. Leuer was warming up and he gets cooled by his own team. Tele is such a liability on D. Price has got to go as our 3rd point gard. Weems could not make anything as well, flat looking shot.

Coach smiling on the sidelines while playing the whole team. Maybe he doesn't have a clue who to start, substitute and rotate.

Horrible effort to start the second half.

It seems that from lack of any coherent rotation they are still in preseason. Early fouls and general lack of effort played a part in the number of subs early as well.

Booker and Leuer looked like good additions. Tele couldn't couldn't buy a basket for most of the game.

He's trying to see which players to put in the regular rotation and which players to not.

The Mavs have arguably the least talented roster in the NBA (esp without Parsons) and for the Suns to get spanked by them in Phoenix in the home opener is pretty telling.

Rick Carslie is probably the 2nd best coach in the NBA and imo today proved what he can do even when he has complete crap and Dirk to work with.

This is what happens when you wear BLACK on opening night. Sarver still doesn't get it.

Yikes. It's going to be a long season. I probably won't be here much. It's just too miserable to dwell on losses like this. I am going to have to protect my own sanity.

Sure glad we got rid of the problem children that Hornacek could not meld into a winning team.

Gerald Green 5 for 8 from three - 19 points - Miami Wins
Goran Dragic 8 pts 6 assists 1 TO - Miami Wins
Isaiah Thomas 27 Pts 7 assists - Boston Wins
Marcus Morris 10/27 18 & 10 - Detroit Wins
Marcus Morris 10/28 14 & 6 - Detroit Wins

Sure glad we dumped those guys, our team is so much better.

Who should we dump from this team that Hornacek cannot coach?
