Sort of like the NBA which is a game. Sorry just messing with you and giving you hard time because you confused payout with ROI or ROR. Your net would be negative if that was the case. I hope the Suns don't operate that way or we won't have a team for long. :D

I'm not the one who brought up slot machines. Like a fan attending an NBA game, the only return is entertainment.

I suspect you are comparing a casino to an NBA franchise which I am not.

I did bring it up because it's relevant to hitting the jackpot. I was messing with you not because of the topic but because you thought pay out was the same as ROR. You said "entertainment". I was referring to the game of the NBA also being entertainment.

I think we are talking about different things.

I'm not the one who brought up casinos and I'm not the one comparing an NBA franchise to a casino.

No I did. Because it was a valid comparison comparing odds to hitting a jackpot on a slot machine. You said it was entertainment then I compared it to the game of the NBA because that is also entertainment. Not sure the confusion here?

Yeah, we agree that a customer attending a basketball is for entertainment much like a cutomer playing a slot machine.

That was ever in question was it?

No, it was never in question. I think it is something we can agree on.

If we want to talk about casinos and slot machines, that's for another forum.

Man Booker is really gonna get barely any rest this offseason….

Booker is young and he's also a student of the game. He was going to work his ass off this offseason whether he went to the Olympics or not. I hope he takes it easy when he returns but who knows if he will. At least he's working with the best in the world right now, which should help him next season.

I've done very limited scouting this year, but I'd be excited if we land one of either Mcbride, Butler or Dosunmu,. I think they could contribute right away.

I'm okay with Mann, Queta, or Ayayi. They have skills that will show up in the NBA.

However, no matter what we do... I FULLY trust JJ and Monty to make the best of it. It is SO refreshing to not have to put all my hope in a 19 year old draft pick this year. (Even though I will watch ever blessed second of the summer league games).

DraftExpress has the Suns selecting Tre Mann at #29.

I can't get excited by the turnover to assist ratio but his game reminds me a bit of Cam Payne the way he can get to the rim, shoot a floater and create.

I wouldn't be upset with this selection. He has good height and can create his own shot which the Suns desperately need. His wingspan may limit him defensively.

It's looking the Pistons will select Cade Cunningham #1 unless something changes. Never say never.

If they wouldn't take #6 and Shai for #1 then they're locked in on taking Cade. From what I've read about Detroit since they got the pick its virtually guaranteed they take Cade. I think they worked out like one other person but it reminded me of when the Suns took Ayton. It was clear from the first workout that he was their guy and each workout after was just a formality.

If I were Detroit I would have taken the bird in hand approach and traded for Shai and #6.

I really like Shai and wish there was a way we could get him. I know its an unpopular opinion but I'd offer Ayton for him, especially if Paul bolts. I don't see Paul leaving and I know the Suns wouldn't do that deal so its just a pipe dream that I know someone here will take exception to but Shai is legit. I can see him as a future All-NBA guard within 2-3 years.
