If I were a betting man I think contract perimeters may already be in place or he wouldn't have accepted trips to these teams and report that he wants to sign by Tuesday. Not enough time to hammer out a contract that fast but there is enough time to negotiate the details of perimeters already set in place.

This is something I don't understand. How do teams sign free agents so quickly? Dansby signed with Miami the first day of Free Agency in 2010. Do teams target a guy, estimate at what it will take to sign him, and draw up a contract for him before free agency begins and then hand it to him when he visits?

Or do guys sign a letter of intent or something similar?

Do teams have a template contract and simply fill in the numbers during the visit?

Unfortunately for Kolb, his concussion issue is a very serious concern. IMO, it is as least as concerning as Peyton's neck. During the season I said he should retire. Honestly, if I was in either family, I'd tell both Manning and Kolb to retire.

I'm really thinking that there is more to these concussions.

Skelton has better wheels than Peyton ever had, nobody has a stronger arm than Skelton, Is peyton worth 20 millin a year to tutor him? I don't know maybe? Peyton played 208 games in a row! But missed all last year.

The reality is I think we have a year to adjust to Peyton, and a 2 year window to win with him. Like Elway at the end of his career, Peyton must allow team mates to participate more. another example of run game and balance IMPORTANCE!

Beanie Wells is 23 years old, RWill should be ready to go, and Peyton Manning only lost 18 fumbles in 208 games- Kurt lost 6 in that Jets game!
turnover ratio- ball protection - is more impressive to me than Peyton's passing stats.
