Whoa! Listen to the interview of Jason Whitlock in its entirety. Is this a microcosm of what is going on in our society in general? Good find Moose!
Because his parents are lawyers and he understands the system.
Today Cam Cleeland an ex teammate of Incognito issued the following comment “I’m not afraid to say that he was an immature, unrealistic scumbag,” Cleeland said. “When it came down to it, he had no personality, he was a locker-room cancer, and he just wanted to fight everybody all the time. It was bizarre beyond belief.”
I think it's pretty clear Martin isn't getting any "help" from the Dolphins so he's fully prepared and lawyered up now to take care of it through the legal system.
At this point he probably realizes his NFL career is over so he's going to use the legal system to get as much of his contract paid out as he can, and just move on.
The only thing I'm starting to wonder is maybe Incognito got treatment in the last year or so and that's why so many Dolphin players seem to be coming to his aid when others in his past think he's the antichrist or something?

This latest development takes the case in an entirely different direction. It shows that things in the Miami locker room might have been worse than we ever imagined.
"Jonathan endured harassment that went far beyond the traditional locker room hazing," Cornwell said in the statement released late Thursday night.
"For the entire season-and-a-half that he was with the Dolphins, he attempted to befriend the same teammates who subjected him to the abuse with the hope that doing so would end the harassment. This is a textbook reaction of victims of bullying. Despite these efforts, the taunting continued. Beyond the well-publicized voice mail with its racial epithet, Jonathan endured a malicious physical attack on him by a teammate, and daily vulgar comments such as the quote at the bottom. These facts are not in dispute."
This is that quote, allegedly directed at Martin by a Miami teammate, from the bottom of the statement:"We are going to run train on your sister...She loves me. I am going to f*** her without a condom and c** in her c***." (The quote as it appeared in the statement spelled out the first of the obscenities.)
Thus, Martin alleges that a Dolphins player threatened to be part of a gang rape of his sister.
Let that marinate for a bit.
Was looking through Martin's tweets, just to see if there was anything crazy but it's all just normal NFL tweety stuff. On martin's twitter though, it looks like he took a pic with some fan somewhere on some night in mid September, oh, and there's someone else in the picture too.
(I'm gonna guess it's Royal St in the French Quarters)

The more I think about it, the more I think that THESMEL is the ASFN version of Jon Martin.
really crazy article from the LA Times I read today. man...some of the stuff these guys do is beyond ridiculous. "The Gauntlet" is just terrifying, especially the story with the guy who collected pennies from all his teammates so he could put it in a sock and whack whoever's running down the hall with it.
