Oh well, I guess I'll skip watching Sportscenter the next couple of days. I don't want to hear the Testaverde love.

David Carr looks like the biggest fruit on the planet.

In my opinion this game doesn't even crack the top 30 tragic moments.

Which other game took all the air out of a season of such promise? I mean 1 minute we're talking about the play-offs, the next throwing in the towel. I think it's 1 of the worst ever. Not since the days of Terry Nofsinger and Buddy Humphries have they lost a QB and just run to ground.

It won't get any better until they fix their atrocious pass defense no matter who gets healthy.

Boldin would have made a huge difference in today's game but opponents are just going to pass the Cards silly.

We were only 3-2, with every game coming down to the final play, and a suspect offense. I wouldn't think it was a promising season until we were over .500 at the halfway mark. That said, I'm not throwing in the towel either, 1 game at a time.

I don'y know if I agree. Because of their inability to move the ball on offense, they were buried in their own end, almost the entire game. As a result the defense had no rooom for error and you can't play at that level of emotion for the entire 60 minutes.

Emotion and being fresh are factors in the rush defense not in coverage. The Cards have not done well in pass coverage all year. The Cards went into today's game ranked 25th in pass defense. Frerotte was throwing poorly last week and the Rams still put 31 on the board.
