Look for the 49ers to pound Gore consistantly against the Cardinals defense and test our weakness at stopping the run. If they are sucessful, they will be able to control the clock and keep our offense off the field.

I'd think they would be more inclined to throw the short passes that every team had so much success with against the Cards in pre season.

Anyone thinking they can pound the ball against our new DLine could be in for a rude surprise.

But again all that is based on preseason so ........

This year we come out firing on all 3 sides of the ball, the 9ers don't have a chance.

If we only score 17 points at home vs. the worst Defense in the league(last year atleast) then the Cards won't win a game all year...

Also with the new changes on the Cardinals OL look for the penalties to increase. This will most likey end up killing a lot of drives and forcing the Cardinals to use Rackers to score their points again.

Didn't see too many penalities by OL during pre-season. It seems like we are improving in this area and hope that this continues during the season.

Here's a probability for you Jeff. If we don't win on Sunday, there's about a 98% probability that we won't make the playoffs.

I always hear people talking about how one game isn't any more important than the next game. But in this case, that's just not true.
