Doubt GS would include Biedrins & Randolph in a deal.

Biedrins, Wright, Azubuike, Curry would be plenty fine by me to get Amare on out of town!

Given everything that's reported, and the transparent non-denial-denials from Kerr and the Golden State G.M., I suspect we've made a deal with Golden State pending Amare agreeing to a contract extension. There's no way that can happen in an afternoon, so the deal couldn't have been finalized yesterday. Until they know there's a deal, teams are going to deny that the players involved are being traded, in case it doesn't go through. That's how teams usually respond to reporter's questions about trades that aren't final. Given Coro's article and the Suns' war room when the Timberwolves picked Johnny Flynn, Curry's part of the deal. And given their roster and our previous interest, Biedrins has to be part of the deal and Wright probably is.

Once Amare agrees to an extension (and I don't imagine Golden State would pick for us unless they thought he would), the trade ought to be announced.

I could be totally wrong, but that's what seems to make sense given all the apparently different reports out there. And I like Wright better than anybody else from Golden State in the deal, and I hope it does go through.

And part of the reason the deal will be announced later than Wednesday is because of Biedrin's contract (some base salary stuff that i don't understand)

I don't mean to sound like a goober but according to the infamous ESPN trade machine the numbers aren't even close to adding up for:
Amare
for
Beidrins
Bellini
Wright

Am i missing something? Stephen Curry's rookie contract maybe?
If Azubuike is added it comes extremely close.
Elindholm....are you still awake? LOL

Biedrins is a BYC player until next Wed. Thats why they have to wait until July 1st to complete it

My head's spinning. It sounds to me like the SUNS still don't know WTF they're doing except that they're gonna build around a 36 yr old PG who can't guard anybody, dump salary, and expect to compete.

I have a feeling Nash is gonna go bye bye. There were rumors already that Suns were interested in TJ Ford, they drafter a combo guard who many scouts say is really a PG. We also have two contracts that can be bought out which can be used as trading pieces. I doubt that Nash even wants to play here next year. My guess is that he is going to NY, Toronto or Portland.

Portland would be funny imagina a guard rotation of Curry, Barbosa, Bayless and Belinelli. That would be quite crazy, 4 players who can probably all play both positions and are explosive scorers/shooters. That would be similiar to the run and gun with Kidd, Nash, KJ, Chapman and Finley I think it was.

Kerr was interviewed during the draft and said that he was accepting calls for Nash offers. Sounds they will at least attempt to trade him. They would probably want to send him for a big expiring contract plus young talent if they can swing it.

Kerr said:
Kerr called trade reports "absolutely false." He said teams called with interest in Stoudemire, Steve Nash, Leandro Barbosa and Robin Lopez.

How can anymore ever believe that Kerr tells the truth to the media after this one?

Care to explain why not?
We get rid of Nash, get a competent point guard for a year, and get some kind of a low post threat for 2 years, at around $6 Mil each. Most importantly we get our first rounder back.

Because we are getting more than that for Amare and I can guarantee that the Suns want more value for Nash than Amare.

There were multiple reports about OKC wanting Lopez. For the life of me, I can't figure out why anybody would want Lopez, but apparently, OKC does.

All smokescreen. They offered to give our pick back, but we said no thanks..........

forget that 1st round pick...

Westbrook and Harden - a very attractive backcourt already, Thunder don't need Nash.

Even if this deal goes down, I still think we need to run at Chandler.

Or at least find a serviceable player we can get for Wallace's contract. Clock's ticking, the Suns only have 48 hours to trade Ben.

Right?
