It doesn't!!!!

Geez, you'd think that PHX just sent Amare for Raul Lopez.

Like I said, if they send one of our picks from this summer, we can no longer bribe the Bobcats into taking a player in the expansion draft.

Which WOULD significantly alter our plans this summer (by about 5 million in cap space)

In the next hour and a half? No freaking way.

Could have set it up earlier.

That's like saying I might as well throw away all of my retirement money, because it doesn't affect what I'll have for dinner tonight.

KTAR reports that the Suns receive future picks and a couple of players for Gugliotta?

That would be better!

Seriously, We don't even know all the details. Lets find out what the trade actually is, then we can fly off the handle.

I was never a big fan of the rumors to give up one first rounder to get rid of Googs, much less two. :?

LOL!

I can't believe anyone is justifying this deal. I'm a big supporter of the C's, and this just completely knocked the wind out of me. Two first round picks simply to get under a luxury tax that might not even kick in? This is horrible.

I have lost complete respect for them if this is true. BC867, where are you? Now you have a legitimate reason to complain!

I love the trade deadline

Even if it is relatively boring like this season, there is nothing like sitting in front of the computer witht he radio on at 11:30 on a thursday morning, just waiting for the trades that you know are coming

I agree, in the other thread there is some speculation that White could be going to Toronto.

If they use 2 picks, and no more than 1 is for this summer, and clear White.......I can deal with that.

The Knicks will make the playoffs most likely, and we can all assume that White was going to the Cats this summer for a pick and 3mil. cash.

Isn't it normally that when you trade away players with big contracts in the last year you get some picks....

Yes, but that is because the team takin the big contract gets cap relief. The jazz already have a ton of relief, they are just agreeing to pay the rest of his contract. So actually, they are doing us a favor.

Didn't Shaq say something about buying a team and that Walmart wants to buy a team for some time already?

Come on Jerry, sell the team to someone who is willing to spend and not sacrifice draft picks just for money and nothing else.

Chad Ford: (1:43 PM ET ) It looks like the Pistons have traded for Sheed. I'm awaiting word on details but a very good source has confirmed that they have a "done deal."
