cm on reynolds!
being swept at home with 75% of the crowd rooting against you
From AZcentral today:
49,826 Saturday night's paid attendance, the largest paid crowd in ballpark history. The previous high was 49,707 in Game 6 of the 2001 World Series.
I have 2 questions for this....
1) So... does that mean that there was more people tonight then at Game 7 of the world series (as well as more at game 6?)
2) How many of those in attendance tonight were Boston fans... I was there.. and I'd guess at least 25-30k

Yes, yet they were both sellouts. Due to minor reconfigurations of the ballpark over the years, the capacity has increased slightly since the 2001 WS.From AZcentral today:

what does it hold 50,000?
game1 at arizona 49,646
game 2 at arizona 49,646
game6 at arizona 49, 707
game 7 at arizona 49 ,589
I was at game 7.... but it's just crazy trying to imagine that there was more people at game 6 than 7.... you figure the entire city would be trying to get into game 7 of the world series since it could be a once in a life time thing
Snyder is USELESS!
I can't believe this guy would start for any other team.
Come on, Tavarez sucks. I think I just read he passed 6 innings once this year? 3-4 runs in the 1st 3-4 innings maybe...if Melvin gets the line-up right. We scored 3 runs off a guy having a Cy Young type year so I expect more off probably their worst pitcher. There won't be another "spanking" like last night at least.
