Harmonix is actually soliciting feedback through another site (not the Harmonix site). They were advertising it on Country Music Television I guess. Someone told me about the site and I went there. It appears they probably want to add the more upbeat country songs. Here it is.

Stone In Love would be awesome. I was thinking Anyway You Want It, but Stone In Love is the better choice. I'm also waiting to get some Def Leppard, darn it.

Anyone know the skinny on how to get tat's for your rockstar's?
well, I know they cost money, but I really haven't gotten that far into it. I know it's in the part where you buy clothes & all that stuff.

I agree there is a market for country...in fact it is so big...make a damn game and leave it off of rock band, they can play country band.
Blink 182 is techically rock, that doesnt work for arguement.
I dont care what they do with added content but the game is shipped with enough crap music, i dont need country in there too on rockband 2.

Sorry but Country is coming like it or not. I have no issue with them putting in all kinds of music in it. I personally think they made a mistake calling the game "Rock" Band. Obviously, they are going to extend beyond that market.

Country should come but not mixed with other music. I have zero interest in two types of music Country and Rap. If either of those two genres are in the next game I will not be buying it. Keep Rock Band, and another game of Country Ho'down, and Rap City if you must but don't mix into Rock Band II!

I don't know if they have another version, or if they will just release downloadble content for other genres.
All indications are that Country will be available for this game via download content. So even though you might not like it there are ton of fans who like both. I am sure they will start releasing them soon. Also, I would bet you won't see any country ballads are anything. It will all be upbeat rock type country. Obviously, they are not going to allow any slow crud which wouldn't make sense.
You still have the option to download it or not. For instance, I think some of the songs that come with the game suck. I think so does some of the download content. That won't stop me from enjoying the game though.

Exactly. I cannot stand Blink 182, and I am trying my best to keep from downloading that crap.

I hear you. Though I think that has already happened to some extent. If you look at the mix of music from the 60's all the way up to today you already see that. What was "considered" rock back in the day wouldn't probably be considered "rock" today.
I already see most of those that mentioned above sprinkled throughout this game. I am OK with it though as long as I have a choice. Except for the RAP part. Gotta agree it has no place in this game though.

Holy crap. That song is very hard to play on the drums. I think I played it on hard, and got my ass handed to me.
Foreplay/Long time is one of my favorites on the game.

Im at the point where medium seems a little too easy, and hard is too hard on some songs.
Maps on Expert is really fun. Lots of constant hitting of the drums.
Im all for rap star, 2 turn tables and a mic, but it should be seperate, along with country and techno and anything else not rock. If I have to play through garth brooks or brittney spears to reach the next city ill be pissed.
