No I don't think they are going to add any more cities. Anything they add would be strictly for download content. I think the only thing they could add game wise would be the ability to complete more achievements.

I think what he means, is that when you are playing one player tour, and you have a list of 5 songs, and you have to play all 5, before you can get the next set of 5 songs.... He doesn't want Britney to be a part of those 5 that he has to sing, in order to beat the game.
None of my downloaded songs appear in that list when I playing on solo tour. It's at the very bottom under Downloaded songs. Unless they change the game, all new content should be there and not a requirement for getting to the next city. I doubt they would change that.

True. They are in Japan.
So basically if you don't want to play em..don't download em and they won't be part of your game. They will probably always provide content like that via download only since it's called "Rock Band".
I mean the next rockband game....like when i have to play "I think im paranoid" to beat LA, i hate that damn song. I could care less whats availbible to download as I can pick and choose, its what comes in with the 50 songs on rockband 2 i am concerned of.
so we are barely at world showcase in rockband, hard guitar and hard bass band tour. I purchased the metallica pack, stp and skynard, buddy holly. metallica is f'ing hard but its ok ill get to it later, right? nope. Mystery setlists and whatnot, your DL'd songs get thrown in....I had to go back down to medium and still have trouble with metallica on that, up until then we were 4 and 5 starring every song on hard, i hate medium...anything but metallica ill five star no matter what.

Metallica will always be very tough. I remember medium giving me some trouble. I failed a couple times on the hard guitar too. Haven't tried it on expert yet. Some drum songs get me too. I can play some songs on expert, where other songs, (like Green Grass and High Tides) give me trouble on medium.
In fact, I think I need to take my drums back. Pretty sure the yellow collapsed.
That bites. Hopefully mine stand up. I played through guitar at easy, medium and some songs on Hard. However, switched to Drum playing now. I thought for sure my guitar would have failed by now. It was manufactured in October so I am pretty sure I have one of the ones that will go. However, now that I am drumming I hope I have no issues with those. So far I have completed Easy and working through Medium.

Linder was super smart and bought the 2 year replacement warranty. As long as BB has some in stock, I will swap it out.
I am leery about it though. I don't want to receive a bad guitar. I already had my old one replaced, and it works good now.
The individual instruments come out in a couple weeks and that's what I am gong to do. I am going to get a second guitar with a 2 year replacement.

Why not just buy Guitar Hero 2 or something? The GH guitars work with Rock Band, but not vice versa.
gh guitars are not as good and dont have the low buttons for non strumming solos

I never use them, but when you get to expert, There are times when I need to.
ive found songs on hard that I cant do with the normal buttons, need to start practicing. I'm 6'5'' with huge hands, those little buttons are a huge challenge.

What songs do you need downloaded?
Rockband has a Blink 182 song you can download from Xbox live for the game. I think it's "All The Small Things", but I'm not sure.
I have played GHIII at my nephews and the Guitars in general feel smaller to me. I would rather wait for the solo instruments.
GH controllers are not as good IMO.
