Yep, just finished it. What an awesome process!

It already gave me a UPS tracking number.

Did you do the "express?"

They give you a tracking number, but it won't be picked up for 2-3 days. They usually ship second day air though, if you did express. I think I got mine back 6 days after I submitted it.

I took my Rock Band back to BB on Saturday because the yellow drum had cracked from getting hit too hard. I open everything back up, and start to play, and immediately I notice that the downstrum on that guitar would go out soon. I call them back, and get my replacement guitar. I have a nice full set again. All is good.

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith.

I have been wondering why Aerosmith doesn't have many games here, but I guess this is why. Sucks you will have to buy a new game, just to get Aerosmith songs.

New Guitar Hero gives sweet emotion to Aerosmith fans

FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Activision Inc on Friday unveiled a new "Guitar Hero" video game focusing on the rock band Aerosmith, taking the billion-dollar franchise in a new direction.

Called "Guitar Hero: Aerosmith," the new game will arrive in stores this summer, a surprise to many analysts and fans who had expected the next title to come out closer to the year-end holiday shopping season.

Aerosmith, known for hits such as "Dream On" and "Sweet Emotion," is the top-selling American rock band of all time, with sales of 66.5 million albums in the United States alone.

No thank you. Oh and what a way to say screw you to all the GHIII fans who just bought the previous version.

Exactly my point. I am sure this is Aerosmith's doing, just as much as it is Activisions though. I am SURE they wanted to get as much royalties as possible from the game sales, and having their own game, did it.

I would have expected this from Metallica, more than Aerosmith.

Well, Metallica is planning on releasing a full album on Rock Band before it is available in stores.

I could TOTALLY see Metallica saying, "Hey, I am giving you brand new content, give me my own game." But they didn't.

I'm not opposed to band specific Guitar Hero games, but couldn't they have found a better band than Aerosmith?

I am. It limits the content. Even now I find myself getting sick of playing certain songs. Can you imagine how bad it's going to be if you start having band specific games? The content will be even lighter and your going to see more of the same over and over.

No thanks. I am glad I got Rock Band and not Guitar Hero III. Especially, now that they are going to start ripping you off by making you buy another version so soon just to get content that should be an ADD-ON.

I guess it will depend on how many songs and other features are included in this. Considering that GH currently charges $6.25 for its three song add-ons ($5.50 for Rock Band I think), I'm guessing that offering Guitar Hero: Aerosmith as a whole new game for $60 will be a better deal than had they released it as an add-on, provided that the song set won't be abnormally low. I don't see how they're making anybody buy it, if people don't want to play a lot of Aerosmith songs then they really aren't missing much by sticking to GH3 or Rock Band. I know that if by some miracle GH or Rock Band made a Led Zeppelin edition that I'd buy it the day it comes out.

What is the best percentage you can get? I do vocals. I have gotten 99% 2 times on the Beastie Boys song.

So when I do unlock Cherub Rock? I've had this game for about a week and as far as replay value goes I'm not sure there has ever been a game as solid as this. I had been going solo until yesterday when friends came over and we played the band world tour mode....awesome. The Boston song came out of nowhere and was crazy. What an intro. So who will be buying the stage kit?

I think Cherub Rock was one of the last songs that I unlocked. After going through the solo mode on easy with each instrument, I was able to unlock half of the songs. After doing the same thing on medium, I was able to unlock the rest.

And no, I won't be buying a stage kit.

Maybe you should audition for American Idol and tell them your stats on Rock Band. You'll make it to Hollywood for sure!

I don't know if I ever will again though. I sing pretty much every song from here on out on Hard or Expert.

Oh, and screw you. :)
