We d/l "Wonderwall" last night...awesome.

I also tried singing & playing the guitar at the same time for the first time. I did "The Kill" by 30 Seconds to Mars, and did pretty good, but I think I was on Easy for both. I did another one, too, but can't remember what it was. Did so-so on that one, whatever it was. I want to get better at doing both. The songs I know really well (like The Kill) should be fairly easy, I would think.

Got my first 100% (304 note streak) on Sunday.

Donald is coming along as a very good drummer and we are both on medium and have the jet to fly us around now.

We are getting killed by one of the harder songs, I think it is Deep Purple.

Deep Purple is hard. Flirting with Disaster might be the hardest song, all the way around.

Grateful dead this week 6 of them.

It includes six classic tracks, all of them master recordings:
“China Cat Sunflower,”
“Casey Jones,”
“Sugar Magnolia,”
“Truckin,”
“Franklin’s Tower” and
“I Need A Miracle.”

eh...be nice if they would release stuff I like.

Deep purple isnt hard really, more of just a strumming marathon.

Metallica and david bowie are the two hardest songs for me.

I am really getting bored of their release schedule as of late. No offense to you classic rock fans but much of the classic stuff (aside from a song here or there) I could care less about. They need to step it up.

A lot of it isn't even very good classic rock. I mean, six Grateful Dead tracks?

Black Tide - Shockwave

Had no idea what it was, found out you can click on "music store" in the game and preview songs before you buy them.

Turns out this song is this new band of teenagers that just shreds it. I hear it on KUPD often. Great song.

I think it is a lot easier to get royalties from songs that are past the copyright date. (17 years after release)

Then some Def Leppard isn't too much to ask for, dammit!

I struggle mightily on "Enter Sandman."

(guitar, medium difficulty)
I struggle on everything guitar/medium!

(j/k, not all songs, but most. Enter Sandman is a killer).

Then don't play Suffragete City or Flirting with Disaster. Those are a step up from Sandman.

Rock Band is on sale at Amazon for like $20 off the normal 170 for 360 and PS3. Drums are on sale too. If you've been waiting...

(BTW, make sure to use the ASFN link)

And that's funny to me, because I don't remember struggling with Suffragete City and I just five-starred Flirting with Disaster.

I must be confused between the difficulty that I had on those songs from medium, to hard. I still have a hard time playing those on hard.

So has anyone here tackled the "ESL" (entire set list) challenge yet? Somehow I can't see Mrs Puck and I dedicating an entire day to RB, only to fail the second to last song. :bang:

No way in hell. 55 songs in a row is BS!

My fingers would explode!!!

The only way I could see it happening is if you tackled it in multiplayer, and you switched instruments to give you relief from the different pains you would feel on your way through 55.

Besides, if like what was said above......if I got close then blew it with only a couple songs to go, I would guarantee my instrument would be pounded to the floor like a real Rock star.
