Great win in DETROIT!
I did not expect that one at all! Bryz made up for the last game and we're back in control! Did anyone hear any more on Doan's injury?
Total domination in the 2nd and 3rd periods. Howard just isn't that good, we should win the series.
The team doctors are taking a look at him. It is apparently an upper body injury and it is too early to tell if he will play monday.

Edit: Just heard that Osgood might be starting in place of Howard in game four.
Howard is one of the big reasons the Red Wings played so well in the second half of the season and made the playoffs. He only gave up one soft goal today. I would put more blame on Detroit's defense. They did not play with the intensity that the Coyotes did, especially in the 2nd and 3rd periods. I have a neighbor who is a Red Wings fan and he hopes Babcock does not put in Osgood for game four. I would love to see Osgood because he has rarely played this year.
This series is definitely not over. Anyone who knows hockey knows that Detroit is capable of taking this series. They have too much talent and we are only 3 games into this series. If the Coyotes win game four I will feel a little more confident but until they win that 4th game, it's not over.
I know Howard had a great regular season, but he sure hasn't looked good at all in the playoffs. Bryz hasn't looked great either, but we definitely have the advantage in the goalie matchup.
times a million for MO.
heh - mind if I join in?
good god that team is absolutely snakebit - to keep with the normal sharks playoff series loss this is the time where i would normally state that it's not that bad
sure they slept through a game (at least it wasn't 2 games this year), 3 of the 8 goals allowed were by sharks and they have absolutely controlled the last couple of games and all they need to do is keep up this level of puck control, add a little more focus and work on better scoring opportunities and they'll be fine
then they go and dominate the next game and with the score out of hand some scrub will run one of the sharks better players knocking them out for the series .... the sharks will come back and play some epic 3 OT game and either lose on a tough goal to end the series or win it and lose the rest of the series as they're out of gas.............
but not this year - i'm much more pessimistic
I am excited about the 'yotes though and am really hoping they can keep this up - i really want them to advance - they remind me of when being a sharks fan was fun
Man do I hate the Red Wings
