Can't fault the Suns for winning the game tonight, with or without Bynum.

The Lakers' first win against the Suns this year basically was without Amare, as he was too injured to make a difference for the Suns (at least a positive one).

This was a no-win situation for the Suns for a lot of people, but they won and I'm glad they did.

I really feel bad for the Lakers trolls. They know they are going to get bounced from the playoffs by the Suns for the third straight year, so they are trying to get all their trash talking out of the way while they still can.

Lakers didn't have odom that first game, either.

I'd say the Lakers not having Bynum is worse against a team like the Suns because without a big man to deter the shots inside it is damn near impossible to stop Phoenix.

But that doesn't mean the Suns shouldn't be commended for winning this game. They took care of business, and that's all you can ask for.

Uhm, he is.

I'm one of the last of a dying breed not liking bynum. To me, he gets a lot of easy buckets because of Kobe. Now i know my team has nash so everyone gets buckets but they proven even without him. Bynum hasn't really developed a back-to-the-basket-game just yet. He relies a lot of his size to carry him through games. Now i'm not saying he isn't a good player or won't be a serious game-changer sometime soon, but i don't think he's all that impressive just yet.

You had Doris tonight. He more than made up for Grant.

Kwame on the other hand, didn't even make up for Mihm being out, much less Bynum.

Why are you all so freaking uptight after a win?

Just the one where we beat you in Phoenix. :p

If I have to see Kwame lay it up again I might be sick.

No, that was the one sans Amare and Odom.

I'd give you the game in LA on Christmas, but wasn't Kwame injured and out for that game? If he played the Suns would have won by 95 1/2 points.

We have boris every night.....he played well against the bucks too (though not so much against the clips). I think he's just starting to find it again, that's all. Then you have to realize that when he starts we drop to a 7-man rotation. That makes everything that much harder on everyone.

Kwame just sucks, let's face it. MJ was a moron for taking him 1st overall. He has no hands, no quickness, no smarts, no jumping ability, no nothing. I hope for the Lakers sake his contract doesn't suck too much

Um Boris Diaw was damn near perfect from the field. He more than made up for Hill's absence tonight.

Like I said the Suns shot perfectly as a team and still found a way to almost let the Lakers back in the game. I absolutely want to face PHX in the playoffs because with Bynum will we beat you. All those putbacks Odom and Turiaf missed would be automatic dunks from Bynum. All those layups and missed dunks from Kwame would be converted. Bynum prob. would have had 20+ points tonight just from offensive put backs.

It is ENORMOUS, 9 or 10 million. But it's an expiring K, so maybe it can get some halfway decent player to a team wanting to dump cash. Either way, he's gone next year.

oh my god! i thought boris had a bad one but at least he's mildly productive and has shown promise. 9 million for Kwame makes Larry Hughes look like a bargin for 12 million a year.

He played well, so what? If hill was there he would have probably done well too. If boris was shooting well tonight, he would have done it off the bench too with hill starting. Hill also gives us ball handling ability and another wing defender to help on Kobe. You can't say with Bynum those would have all been dunks. If he was there, he would have gained a ton of attention from the suns on the boards unlike Odom and Turiaf. Skinner would have seen more time to help seal the boards off too. Bynum is still young, there is never a guarantee with young guys. And I'll say it again...without hill the suns played a grand total of 7 players tonight! we had a far more fatigued team down the stretch
