I don't think they are looking at trading back. This draft is really level in the 15-35 range. Any player could end up anywhere. They could combine second rounders and move up a few spots.

Well Gambo said they are looking at trading back. Since he is basically the Mouthpiece of Sarvermon and knew about the private workout and the current workouts before anyone else, it's probably factual.

But Jonathan Isaac is going top 10.

Big name in Friday?
The Suns canceled Thursday’s scheduled workout but will have another workout on Friday. One player that could be there: Kentucky point guard De’Aaron Fox, who might be a viable candidate for Phoenix with the No. 4 pick. Longtime NBA writer Scott Howard-Cooper tweeted on Monday that Fox would work out for the Suns later in the week. The Suns do not announce their player visits until the morning of the workout.

I'm anxious to hear some feedback from the Suns about Fox but obviously they are not going to show their hand.

Isaac can? Is he hurt?
Sorry. For some reason I was thinking Hartenstein when I read this. I do not think Isaac will slip to 32. I have been roundly corrected on this, and the correction is well-deserved.

Jordan Bell got 28 reps in the 3 minute sprint at the Suns workout today. That's 3 more than Monk did, 1 more than Booker did his year, and only 3/4 of a court behind the Suns' record! Not bad for a big!!!

From the Seth's Draft House:

Jayson Tatum, 6’8” freshman forward, Duke
“Love him love him love him. He’s the next Carmelo Anthony. Just an elite scorer. I wonder how he’ll be as defenders jam him up. I’m not sure he has the foot speed to get around those guys. He has a good midrange game but I’m not sold on his three-point shot. His challenges will be athletically and defensively. He would never just drive down the land and punch it on people. I hear he just loves to play, loves being in the gym. Biggest thing with him is just physical toughness.”

Jordan Bell, 6’8” junior forward, Oregon
“He’s one of my favorite players in the draft. He could be a switch monster because of his ability to defend multiple positions. He’s probably a better shooter than we saw at Oregon. He’s a hot name. He’s undersized four, but he’s just such a ridiculous athlete.”

Added Connelly, “Look at him, he’s not 6-11, but it doesn’t matter. He gets out there. He gets up. He battles. He’s physical. He has that timing or knack, same thing with his shot-blocking, you can’t just be athletic and rebound, you also have to have kind of a commitment to get the ball and the timing to kind of read where the ball is going.”

Bell is 6-foot-9 but has a 6-foot-11 wingspan and 8-8½ standing reach. He ran the fastest shuttle time (2.56) in combine history, and he nearly surpassed this year’s top mark in the Suns’ post-workout three-minute run. Bell fell short by half a court length.

“My teammate Dillon Brooks set the record for this year of 28½, so I wanted to at least get better than that,” he said. “I’m kind of disappointed.”

While Bell can put the ball in the basket, it’s on the defensive end of the floor where he believes he can have the biggest impact on a team.

"Likely LA"? How does he know that? Sounds like he's buying the smokescreens the Lakers are throwing out there.

Ingram at the 4? Good luck with that.

If Ball falls to #4, the Suns have to seriously think about drafting him. The father might be a headache but his passing makes the whole team better by a multiplier effect.

Example, Ball could make Len much better with precise passes as well as other players like Chriss going to the basket.

Probably not going to happen as some team will trade the farm to move up.

If Philly passes on Ball, there will be no decision. We will take him. Period.

As for if Ball is taken top 3, along with Jackson, Isaac is a very strong possibility. In town for a 2-day workout and was also looked at in Vegas at a private workout with almost our entire front office.

So it does not really effect who the Suns draft at #3. Fultz, Jackson and Ball still go top three. I believe some team will try to trade with the Suns for Fox.

That's why for me personally it would be a decision, i think ball has bust potential, and i think issac has bigger boom potential... so i would take issac.

But it may not be a decision for the suns if they want ball that much

Ball falls grab him.

No ball and Jackson reaches us grab him

No ball or Jackson, hold fox ransom from sactown for 5 and 10 and then draft issac or Tatum and hope smith falls to 10 and then trade Bledsoe for something worthwhile. If smith doesn't fall then markenaan or zack Collins.

No ball or Jackson and sac won't trade, just draft best player possible. Don't trade to the 6 spot and risk losing Isaac and Tatum and ending up with fox (who I like, but doesn't substantially move the needle for us)

I see what you're saying, I just disagree. ;)

If Ball AND Isaac are there, we take Ball no matter what.

I don't think Ball will be a bust but if the Suns draft him, it could be a major distraction. Still, I think one has to take the risk.

No way in hell smith falls to 10. I wouldn't be shocked if philly takes him at 3. The problem is at 10 you're outside the range of a second impact player

Not if one is looking for a center. A lot of interesting center candidates in this draft.
