Love this kid. If we had the 2nd or 3rd pick instead of the 1st, I would definitely be talking myself into him right now.

I would take Mo #2 in this draft and it would not even be that difficult of a decision.

What if you could have Bamba and Doncic or Ayton?

I'd have to go with Bamba and Doncic. Bamba is a close second to Ayton in my book and has been for some weeks. Reimember back before we got #1, Bamba was always my consolation prize at 2, 3 or 4. I think of him of a more athletic Gobert with more potential on the offense end and probably a higher bbal IQ. (His IQ is supposedly quite high but that doesn't automatically translate to basketball.) Pair Bomba with several other top ten guys and I'd make the same choice - maybe even SGA, who's not quite in the top 10. I never get tired of adding more D.

As noted on another thread, Jaren Jackson Jr. will be the Suns final candidate for the #1 pick.

No way for SGA considering you could have Ayton and SGA. Bamba and another top 6 in this draft and I would consider it, but not for SGA.

I think Bamba and Doncic are too much of projections for me to agree. While I love Doncic and think he's going to be a pretty good player, I think there is a pretty good chance he ends up being more of a Ginobili-level "star" than a All NBA performer. I think Bamba could be a Clint Capella performer. I think Ayton could be in the pantheon of Shaq/Robinson/Olajuwon. Would you trade one of those centers (Shaq/Robinson/Olajuwon) for Ginobili and Capella? Absolutely not.

Ding ding ding. I agree with this.

Even if Bamba and Doncic became mutumbo and Toni kukoc I’m not sure I’d still take that duo over Ayton.
