Same guy who tweeted the Maker trade (cited as the source in the article) later tweeted the Bucks have made it clear Maker is not available.

Thon Maker is horrible.

He's even more of a project than bender so it's far too early to say this outright...meaning there's very little chance the bucks trade him only one year removed from the draft.

Best part of this is that the Suns can wait as long as they want. Some team will panic and offer something worthwhile.

Offers might be a lit better in December.

+1. If you accept anything from MIL, it’s Brogdon or no dice. December will be enough time for LeBron to get fed up and demand some help.

It's a bird in the hand type thing. The Suns would still have a lot of draft picks to find a plum.

Booker and Brogdon could be an awesome backcourt.

Also a lot of legitimate big men are not always taken early like Jokic.
Jokic was a euro and slightly unknown. And let’s be honest, they were lucky in finding him.

The top four bigs in this draft will all go top 5. I think some of you might not pay attention to college until draft time so you’re unaware of the prizes we long for. There was a reason a few of us were praying for lonzo early in the season last year. Looks like we were right. Kid is going to be a major difference maker at apoaition that raises the profile of the entire team.

We’re talking about 6 weeks. Some team with big playoff expectations will panic and offer a nice deal.

Meantime Suns are better iff with Bled on vacation anyway. Even if they start losing again.

In regard to Brogdon, he is sort of like the BPA available thing. However, I like what a traditional PG brings to the Suns like Ulis so I'm reluctant to go away from this model.

My preference for the Suns in a Bledsoe trade is to obtain a young center or a PG plus a first round pick and an expiring contract.

However, I wouldn't say no to Faried as part of a trade.

Who wouldn't want a top draft pick. I do, but I'm more into letting the game unfold naturally and seeing where the Suns are at the trade deadline. Theoretically losing Bledsoe made the Suns a weaker team. However, if the youngsters want to play, I am not a proponent of holding them back.

Another player I meant to mention along with Jokic is Nurkic who was drafted #16.

But someone has to want to move back. Typically a team doesn’t take a pupu platter for a stud. And bagley, ayton, porter, bamba, and doncic are studs. The celtics traded back but that was only two spots and only bc they really liked the guy they could get at three as much, or more than the guy they could get at 1. Trades up into the top few spots of a draft do happen, but when there are studs they don’t happen often.

What I like is a traditional distributing pg who is an efficient scorer/shooter. That is what Nash was.

Milwaukee really needs a center. They are not starting one right now. They are a weak rebounding team.

Bledsoe and Chandler for Monroe, Brogdon and Telly works. I think Telly is a contract they would like to get out of. Monroe is basically an expiring.

Ryan is so dumb .....he'll mess this up

He's been the whipping boy in every trade he's done.

Traded Thomas who's been an all pro for nothing

Goran - Traded to Miami for nothing....in the same scenario Bledsoe is in

Traded away the Lakers pick ....again for nothing

He's an idiot

I don't like the idea of trading both Bledsoe and Chandler in the same package your going to have to take back a ton of crap to make the saleries work

Yeah I’m not so sure. There are some REALLY bad teams.

Don’t be fooled by the nets early season fools gold.

Dallas should be bad. Dependent on old man dirk.

Bulls will be horrid.

Sac obviously still not good.

Knicks, Indiana, and Atlanta all aren’t good with little talent.

That’s 7 that I think are our equivalent or worse.

Then there are the New Orleans, nugz, lakers magic and sixers who could fail and fall below us.

More than anytime I can remember, the league is now haves and have nots. There aren’t a ton of in between teams. The talent shift the last two offseasons saw to that.

If we improve to 30-35 wins we will likely be picking 9th to 12th. Or worse.

Well laid out there Ouchie.

There are a lot of bad teams. If the suns wait too long to make moves to ensure our draft we could be out of the loop. Moving Bledsoe and Chandler soon will help. Being in the Western Conference will help too. But bottomline the Suns have to take matters in their own hands as much as possible and not bank on anything.

Ulis is a step in this direction. I'd like to see them pursue another similar PG although this may not happen until the draft.
