Hopefully the break didn't break their form (see what I did there ;) ). They were playing pretty well before. They're going to be without a true RB today. Jenkinson has a back injury so either Djourou will have to play there or Koscielny will have to move from CB to RB. I'm guessing Djourou will, Kos has been playing pretty well at CB.

EDIT: Actually they just announced the lineup and Kos is at RB. Metesacker playing in his spot at CB.

Should have kept Kos at CB. Mertesacker with a terrible mistake. 1-1 at the half.

2-1 final. Could have easily won by 4-5 goals. Lots of missed easy chances and 1 big mistake lead to Norwich's goal. But it's a win. This team hasn't deserved to be picky about how they get 3 points.

Offense looked good other than the missed chances. Defense is really shaky. Ramsey and Walcott are fun to watch.

One surprise was that experienced within the sacred herd during the day. Chivas were eliminated from the playoffs in the Apertura 2011 but found their joy when they learned that Marco Fabian de la Mora would have been acquired by Arsenal.

According to the player's family, the signing was kept secret to avoid interference with negotiations between the Mexicans and the English club. Supposedly the player's representative was contacted due to the interest of French tactician Arsène Wenger. It was he who asked his directors to sign the young striker for the market strengthened winter.

Furthermore, it is surprising to be told that the English did the corresponding transactions as soon as possible because they knew that Guadalajara did not compete in the national tournament. So, they thought there would be more teams interested in the star of Guadalajara, which could make up the price of the player.

The information has not been confirmed, but we must remember that Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez went through a similar process before becoming Manchester United as they were his family who leaked the information.

This would be a surprising signing, since Chivas have already reportedly turned down offers from Manchester United and Barcelona. But it seems like Wenger might already have his eyes on Arshavin's replacement.

Back in the top 4 already. Who would have thought that would happen before Christmas?

Needed a win today to take advantage of Liverpool and Chelsea both with ties yesterday. But it was the typical Arsenal dropped points game: loads of possession, lack of finishing and conceding a goal from a set piece.

What a moment. It was a classic Henry goal, great first touch and great finish. They couldn't have scripted it any better.

Aidy bloody White playing him onside!!!

Still, only lost 1-0 to Arsenal. We let in 4 to Reading recently, so I'm fairly happy. They didn't have their full stregth side, but neither did Leeds. Our captain (Howson), best player (Snodgrass) and 1st choice defender (Kisnorbo) were all out.

Seeing as our whole team only cost us £700k, it was a good result.

I do love Henry though.

3 straight league losses. It got pretty ugly yesterday when Wenger subbed off Chamberlain who had been Arsenal's best attacking player and had just gotten an assist. There were lots of boos and even Van Persie was shown saying "NO" when it happened.

They're still within striking distance of 4th with Chelsea not playing so great either. But if they don't get in the top 4 I wouldn't be surprised for this to be Wenger's last season. The atmosphere has gotten pretty toxic.

Yeah, Arsenal are in a tailspin, and it looks like Wenger is losing it. The big problem if you lot don't make the Champions League is that Van Persie will be out of there like a shot if you don't.

The result was great for my Magpies, though. We needed this result, to hold you in place and also help us with goal differential. After our disastrous meltdown, we needed all the help we could get :(

Back in the top 4! What a way to end it by Henry in his last appearance before heading back to NY. Honestly think Arsenal are a little lucky after not creating anything for the first 70 minutes.
