I don't care if its on a short week, I don't care that the weather is probably going to be crap and I don't care that its on the road on the East coast. The Eagles are not going to beat the Cardinals this week.

The Cardinals will put up at least 4 TDs this week and win with surprising ease. Our defense will force multiple turnovers, the Eagles will not run the ball effectively and whoever the Eagles put at QB is going to struggle to complete 50% of his passes.

- On the road
- Across the country
- During a National Game
- In the cold
- On a short week where we just played a physical and high energy game
- Against a team we match up horribly against? (i.e blitz pass rush, good oline play and screens)

Since when do the Cardinals do ANY of those things well?

It's not as easy as "Eagles bad - Cards good"....I hope I am wrong but as I mentioned else where I would be more impressed with a win in Philly then at home against NY.

McNabb has been awful in his last two games, albeit both were on the road. The fans will probably start booing after his first incompletion.

Hopefully, McNabb will start to press and we can get to him early.

I tend to agree with LiaC... I seem to be much more worried about this game than alot of my brother fans...

On a side note... I cannot find this game televised here on the west coast... I thought it was NFLNetwork but mine is showing a college game at the time slot...

The reason is that, aside from the Cardinals, all the west teams suck. Not a single team from the west would be favored over the Panthers on a neutral field. Only the Cards would be favored over Washington on a neutral field.

Because of a long drive to my old man's house today, I was able to listen to 6 hours worth of philly area sports talk, and while about 95% of the fans are down on this Eagles team, they are dismissing the Cards as a good team as well, and many feel the Eagles will win.
Eagles have started slowly the last couple games, so I think its important they start fast defensively and put McNabb on his heals.
I don't think it will be easy at all, but we need this win bad. I don't want to wait around 10 days for another game after a loss.

This will not be pretty. The Eagles are a proud franchise that was just embarrassed. They will circle the wagons & beat the living snot out of us on their home field. I certainly hope I'm wrong, but don't think for a second that the Eagles won't come out with fire in their belly. I see a 4 turnover game for us & we lose badly - 35-17. The local radio guys talked about how beaten up Warner was. They said he was visably hurting after the game. Hopefully his body heals quickly enough to be effective on four days rest. He took some wicked shots delivering those darts. We've seen him play on courage before. He's a warrior....it's sure easy to root for him.

I am hopeful as always BUT...

Very short week; Frozen field, VERY hostile crowd; Eagles the MORE desperate team; National TV; ZERO wins traveling East.... That's ALOT for any team to over-come. I see us losing to the Eagles, resting & recovering and then clobbering the Rams to wrap it up. GO CARDS!

AS they say on any given Thanksgiving day. IMO this will be a tough game for us to win. If we play special teams like we played Sunday we will LOSE! If we throw in the freeze 50 times we will lose. The hard ground should be good for JJ and Tim. It's harder for the defense to cut. I sure hope we win it, but I'm very cautious.
