This road trip might make or break the PO push. That was quite messed up to give up a 6 on 4 empty netter the other night. Hopefully they can rebound against the Oilers.

Smith looks like he wants that new contract. 94 saves on 96 shots since returning from injury.

Rough night as Dallas and Columbus win, Detroit gets a point, and the Coyotes lose in OT to a poor Calgary team after hitting the post twice late.

Yeah, it's going to be tough for them now to make the PO's. They'll need at least 50pts and a lot of teams to pass as well.

Well, they likely have to go 5-1 to end the season to have a shot at making the playoffs. Very disappointing night.

Nice shootout win in Chicago, 3-2. At least keeps it interesting for now. Let's hope Vancouver can pull out a regulation win; 1-1 after 2 against the Wings.

Vancouver in the shootout. So still a slight bit of life left but the Coyotes almost assuredly have to win all four.

Yotes fall in Detroit, losing 4-0 after allowing 3 PP goals. All three off of stupid penalties (two by Vermette). The 4th goal was an empty-netter. Howard was great, but it helps when the Yotes lack skill to hit the net.

This season is over for them. I hope there is a next season in AZ.

Nice to beat the Sharks, but the Yotes are in danger of going from division winner to last in the division the next year.. ugh.
Lots of injuries and the team just couldn't get in sync all season. Not to mention the March goal less swoon hurt.

Sad way to end the season and possibly the tenure in AZ..

They simply left too many points on the table and in a short season you have no time to make it up

Hopefully this next game in Glendale isn't the last they play here as the Coyotes ..... definitely not optimistic of that outcome, but would love it if a fellow upstate NY native and fellow dragon in Darin Pastor can pull of some magic

Not once did I see a game dominated from start to finish like we did regularly last year and the year before. Just too many distractions all around in a short season. It's probably best not to win the "asterisk" cup anyways.

I just hope we get a chance at another season. Truth be told though, during the lockout I was re-inspired to use my free time to focus on my music and that has been fantastic. If they go, they go and I'll be fine.
