Firmly in the Matt camp, it is what it is, come the real thing I'll root for the Cardinals, with a beer watching an internet feed of a little ball going across a green field or if I feel special in a bar because I canceled Direct TV over this kind of crap.

I'll save the money for my kids college, Whiz and the Cardinals FO can do without whatever money they'd get for that for this fiasco.

Dosen't mean I want the team to lose but it takes a heck of a lot to turn me this off on a season, and I honestly care less than I ever have about this team right now simply because of the moronic way this went down and simply because DA is somehow in some universe annointed as our starter.

He's a very lucky man, seriously.

Didnt I refer to you as evenhanded yesterday?

Thats a little intense man. I don't get why people are taking this so personally? Like up in arms SOC rhetoric personally. I don't get it at all.

Why don't you wait till Game 6 before jumping off the bandwagon. Even if we are 0-6 to begin the season, I'm still going to TIVO the games and watche them over and over again.

And if we are 0-6, then we lead the race for the Jake Locker/Andrew Luck derby.

And THAT is the biggest unspoken so far. No one wants to see us go 6-10, but KW has earned the credibility to have that happen and allow to rebuild from there. We had to expect there would be some drop off after Warner left. No one loses a HOF QB and keeps on chugging. Even the Packers went 6-10 once Rodgers began starting games.

And no one wants to hear this but next years QB class could be the best in ages. So if we were going to pick a year to suck and need a QB, next year would be it. Especially if they change the rookie scale as expected and we won't have to pay 30 million in guarantees.

Its all part of the plan. In Wiz I trust. :)

Perhaps the Cardinals are doing you a favor by weaning you off football before there's a lockout next year. Because when that happens, we're all going to be forced to do crazy, unheard of things like talk to our wives.

Might as well start practicing now. Or if your really desperate, follow the Chiefs.

I got news for you brother. We actually have more credibility nationally now that Anderson is starting.

I have staked my entire NFL rep on Matt Leinart as I have been diefying him since college. When the Cardinals drafted him I predicted Super Bowls and Pro Bowls. But my perspective is different then yours.

I have lived here in South Florida the last 5 years. Trust me with Matt as QB, we were getting laughed at even more. People would roll their eyes when I told them - "Just wait till Warner retires - Matts going to take us even further" but I stayed true.

But over the past three weeks, I have had so many people tell me "told you so" it has embittered me to ML. You Az fans are protected by the local bias and coccoon. This is not a surprise to anyone outside of Az, and is more of a fait accompli.

I have the battle scars to prove it.

I keep hoping I wake up and all of this was a bad dream. I laughed my arse off last year at the disaster that was the Brown's QB situation. Anderson & Quinn were comical. We went out and signed Lou Abbott and Costello went to Denver.

It's really amazing how much this controversy has gotten Cardinals fans behind Leinart. I don;t think you would have found this much support for him 3 weeks ago.

100% agree. He is the victim now. Matts football career maybe going down in flames but at least his Q rating is going up.

Yup. Every week last year..."I'll feel sorry when noodle-arm, pansy boy is leading your team, enjoy it while it lasts."

Great post man... My 2 brothers and all my best buddies all still live in the NYC area. They too have somehow always known that Matty was nothing like the hype dumped all over him while at USC. Somehow, people 2000 miles away knew what it seems Whiz now knows (or perhaps has known all along himself)... that Matt Leinart is SOFT, in the SOFTEST sense. Incredible...

Hell I cheered QBs like Schroeder, Gelbaugh, Krieg, McCown...I can cheer for Anderson. I am not exactly optimistic but I will cheer nonetheless.

I'll let you have this thread D, but I get to start the "Let's Go Max Hall" thread when Anderson gets crushed by Game 6 and our porous O-line.

I hate these kinds of threads. How about some LET'S GO CARDINALS! threads? Once they hit the field, I don't care who is out there as long as they win.

Reminds me of a couple of years ago when there were 500 threads about Boldin and Fitz as to who was a better WR and who were you a fan of.

You hate threads of throwing support behind our starting QB even though you aren't comfortable with him in the first place? That's the epitome of "let's go Cardinals!"

LOL

Your going to owe me yet ANOTHER beer when Max Hall starts a game this year;)

BTW my avatar mojo strikes again. I put a toast avatar up and POOF Leinart is now about to get cut.

The voodoo is strong in this ones profile me believes.

I haven't read more than a couple of posts in this thread. i'll admit that. But, i assume it has people bagging on both players which is something I do get sick of.

i know, I know, "Don't click on it and read it then."

Honestly, I have to admit that if Anderson is the starting QB I am gonna' have to think twice about forking out 300 bucks to drive down to watch the Cards play from LA with my Son this year.

I cant see scraping that $$$ together to see a Ish QB ruin the season...

I am not sure I want to even drive the 25 mins to the stadium to see Anderson. Its ridiculous. I will eat my words if he has a career turn around, but I just don't see it happening.

I can't get behind this thread or sentiment at all. Sorry guys.

Dark, dark days!!! I hope we have better luck this time around.
Hey, America pulled for the Saints to win a title because of Katrina & they did. With the housing market & illegal immigrants on the front page in Az maybe its our time. :D
