Garbage time. Unless you are talking about Denny Green 'crown their ass' game which he managed well enough to win.

He didn't actually manage that game, he kicked ass. Opened up strong, then Denny started running Edge every play to "preserve the lead" and the Bears took advantage. Then they opened it back up and Toast drove them down for a game winning FG and Rackers shanked it (second week in a row).

The Toast from that game and the KC game was the guy I was expecting to get, and the guy I thought Toast would be. That should have been his floor, and now it's not even clear if he could ever get back to even that level again. Sad, really.

Bears game

Rams game, Kurt got knocked out just before half, we were up 21-3 and in the second half, against the worst team in football, we got 1 first down and had to hold on for dear life for a 21-13 win that saw the Rams inside our 5 yard line twice in the last 8 minutes.

oh... and his performance at the end of the year against the Packers was absymal as well.

Unreal. How many QB's would go against the grain and overrule the head coach calling 3 straight run plays in succession? I can probably count one one hand...

Matt did what he needed to do and put the team on his back and put them into field goal range for another epic 'Wide Left' from Rackers.

Practice:

Taking the field: "Let's go DA, let's go!!"

Rocket through hands: "Let's go DA, soft throw!'

INT: "Let's go DA, oh no!"

The pretty ones: "Let's go DA, nice throw!"

After failing to get a TD: "Let's go DA, field goal!"

When he gets a TD: "Let's go "DA, Super Bowl!"

When 11 bails him out: "Let's go DA, Fitz whoa!"

Both of those missed kicks (and the one in the playoffs vs GB last year too) were in our endzone, right in front of me. There is nothing like watching Rackers choke right in front of your face and you can't even give his foot the Heimlich.

I remember being a little happy Feely missed 'Wide Right' against the Texans. Sad.

Amazing that the Rams were able to do that with these guys around:

Adrian Wilson
Chike Okeafor
Gabe Watson
Darnell Dockett
Gerald Hayes
Bertran Berry
Antrell Rolle

Guys who started on defense for the Cards in 2006 who were still on defense vs the Rams. How do you have 7 guys out of 11 or 12 top defenders who have been together for 4 years and let the Rams move the ball like that?

As for Green Bay? The Packers scored 122 points in three games against the Cards last season. (44,33,45)

Can we please cut or trade Toast, ASAP? I think things will go a little easier for the DA once that happens.
