Hope Suns are still in the mix.
A tweet from Marc J. Spears:
the tweet makes sense. The Spurs didn't win last year so I don't think he'd be gravy training there, but if he truly wants his OWN team and be the leader of a young up and comer, the Suns are his play. A little riskier, but I feel like the reward for how he's looked at as a career will be much greater here winning a title.
that said, I AM NOT getting blue-balled again by Phoenix sports and refuse to believe this is going to happen!
What I'm wondering, can the Mavericks snag Aldridge as well? The Mavericks have been after both. Now the Mavericks have a center.

No. I think Top 2 is PHX and SA. And then San Antonio gets him. We all cry in the car at the end.

This does not send off good vibrations unless Aldridge is favoring the Suns... and this is still not good.

If true that sucks for us.
Of course people forget last year when Miami was reportedly meeting with Lebron and it turned out it was Deng.
No matter what happens, I am still happy that the suns are going all in for a stand out player. He would fit into this organization perfectly and would be an az sports icon here in Phoenix. He wound just be another name player in SA. Hope LA can see the long term picture here opposed to the next year or 2 in SA
It had already been previously reported that the Spurs were getting a second meeting.
It makes it seem like they feeling pressured to close the deal and him going to the Spurs isn't the slam dunk everyone thought it was when FA started(or when they traded Splitter for nothing).
I have been out of pocket for most of the day but anybody listen to the radio or anything today? Is there any talk of the Suns meeting with him again? The fact the Spurs appear to be in his ear without the Suns doing the same doesn't bode will for the Suns IMO.

Sources: Free agent LaMarcus Aldridge is working to narrow his list of choices to two or three teams today. No final decision is imminent.
This was the last significant information that has filtered out. I would think once his final 2-3 teams are selected those teams would have another chance to make their case.
