Figures. Seems like this maybe another Az pro sport tease!

Portland seemed so sure after the draft that Aldridge would not be going anywhere except exploring FA. Maybe they are correct.

That says the Spurs are the one team he knows exactly what his role would be and knows how the coaching staff operates. Not that the Spurs are the only contender.

I can't believe that part. Part of the Suns pitch HAD TO BE selling the role he wants to play on the team and telling him he is the man....no?

Yes, but there are more questions beyond the role. That is one part that I am sure he does know with us. But our roster is in flux, our coaches are unfamiliar to him... things like that.

The Spurs and Blazers are the only teams that he knows enough about their organizations, their rosters and staff to not have any questions.

It does not mean they are the top 2 contenders because we know for sure Portland is not even in the mix. Only that they're the two he knows the most about.

With Chandler, the Suns -- incredibly -- have one of the better center rotations in the league. If Aldridge wants protection to play PF exclusively, Phoenix is a good bet.
Thank you, Eric. I have been waiting for over four decades to hear those words.

'Sorry, guys, I just had to see it again.

Thinking back, I don't think the Suns have ever had two power players like Chandler and Aldridge playing alongside each other. They have always worn out the lone big man in the front court.

Source familiar w/ LaMarcus Aldridge's situation says currently Spurs & Suns are front-runners. Dallas 3rd. Lakers out. Heat not happening.

Now your putting words in my mouth. Where did I call MCD stupid? Now if I critique the Suns FO I am calling you stupid?

Holy Cow KLOD. What is next? If I post certain emoticons you going to make that about you as well?

LOL. OK KLOD. Moving on.

Wow. Inept doesn't begin to describe. But, for the first time I believe ignore is a must. It'll save me from your constant bombardment of doltish manure.

You are right. Your posts don't even begin. It would save me from having to respond to your ridiculous judgmental lawn fertilizer. Can't express to you how broken up I am over it.

At least that sounds better than the last tweet by Woj. How weird it is to be sandwiched between the Spurs and Dallas?

I just think you took that tweet to mean more than it did.

Possibly but I think it had more to do with it being unclear. Look at the debate after the Tweet about what Woj meant by "role".

I know, he said "unclear about organization, about role", expect there are some teams he is unclear about their organization other unclear about their role. I expect with us its the organization. We have very young GM and a 2nd year coach.

Either way, it certainly didn't mean we're not one of the top contenders.

Yeah I didn't take it as we were not one of the top contenders only that there apparently were more questions about us than originally thought. Meaning we went from 1A/1B to more like a solid #2.

Either way, it's a big step for this franchise even being in the conversation.

It all comes down to what he wants for the next few years. Does he want to be a guy on an already established championship team (Spurs) or does he want to be part of a possible championship contender each year and him being a huge part of turning that team (Suns) into that. The Spurs are going to eventually have "rebuilding" years when all the older veterans start to retire. Starting with Duncan after this next year.

So has he narrowed his choices to 3 or 4? LA supposedly is getting another visit, I thought he was only giving second visits to teams who made his cut, LA supposedly was eliminated. I have heard he did not visit NY.

Just heard the replay of the Gambo report joining the guys on the air. He basically said the moves were to prove that the Suns were serious but they still have to move someone to sign both LMA and Chandler. He said he doesn't think the Suns will make any more moves though until LMA commits.

LOL Spurs fans are getting impatient now and exploring the thought of trading for Hibbert....

From Spurs talk:

Well at least with Hibbert, we know we're not getting a homo like Aldridge has revealed to be...not that there's anything wrong with it.

Kieff or PJ, they are the only ones left on the roster making over $5M. It would probably end up being Kieff as Len & Leuer are going to back up LMA & TC. PJ will share time with Warren at SF.

They were saying on the radio that word is the LMA is going to make a couple trips tomorrow? Mmmm. Don't know if that is true but I wonder what these trips would be for.
