Maybe I ignore some posts when they don't ring true. I believe what I see with my own two eyes. The Morris twins have been the Suns bench and each pushing the other to a higher level. Markieff now plays with the big boys.
Our bench is nice and young, the coach uses them when the timing is right instead of the same time every night. I don't care how we do in the play offs, this team is fun to watch build.

Really? I guess they might not have actually been "haters" but it was only a few weeks ago that we had a running conversation here about them just being run of the mill and that's being generous. The twins have been huge for our wins this season but I think they still draw more negative comments than positive ones, especially Marcus.

Add Frye to that list...But its human nature. Their effort tonight will be forgotten once the Suns lose another game, then you will hear the "they are highly dispensable" talk again

Marcus has been solid all-year. Not spectacular, but solid. A reliable role player off the bench. Markieff is in the running for 6th man. And let's be honest, he should take the starting job away from Frye next season if they are both here.

I don't know what people expect from 2 mid-first rounders. Both are easily living up to expectations. Markieff looks like he's on the verge of breaking out. Marcus was basically dumped by the Rockets.

This is a really deep draft and yet I'd be fine if we walked away with two more players of their caliber. I'd still rather keep them coming in off the bench but if Frye keeps playing like he has recently we might not be able to survive that. I just hope we have the option of starting them next season. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a team make the two of them offers that surprise the fans on this board.

I try to watch every post game show, Gerald always represents himself well. He deflects praise and he heaps it on his coach and his co-workers. I don't like some of the things he does on the court but all in all I've grown quite fond of this guy. He is not a superstar but he sure as heck plays like one far more often than we have any right to expect. That was one incredible 3rd quarter.

Green admits playing a little crazy sometimes (can't remember his exact words) but he praises the Suns coaching and players. He says his success wouldn't have happened anywhere else. I think Hornacek has done a good job of encouraging this young man. Also he said Markieff should be the sixth man of the year and Hornacek should be coach of the year.

I'm hoping that Channing is just worn down. He's making mental mistakes that he just wasn't making early in the year. Taking a year and a half off and dealing with a possible life-changing medical issue might be catching up with him. He's had some bad games this season but up until the past 7 games or so he was playing at a far higher level than I've seen from him in the NBA.

I am no fan of small ball but, I must say, our lineup of two Point Guards, a Shooting Guard, a Small Forward and an undersized Power Forward got us the win, with defense as well as offense.

Steve Albert said this was the loudest he's heard the Suns fans all season and it sure sounded like it.

The Suns have heart. PJ our leading rebounder with Ish Smith second. And the two of them leading the team, along with Dragic, each with four assists. The Twins becoming more and more consistent. And led by the 41 points of Green.

We won each of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters vs. the top team in the West who, as has been pointed out, the refs were trying to hand a victory.

What a great feeling for a Thursday night!

Absolutely. And Len is developing quietly and Goodwin is trying to get playing time.

The maturity Gerald Green has demonstrated this year is quite refreshing, both on and off the court. He still has momentary lapses when he gets too hyped up, and his bball IQ still leaves a little to be desired but he rarely forces things and is getting better at attacking the close outs.

Best win of the season and the best team that we have beat this season.

To win against a healthy Westbrook and Durant loaded OKC team is the hardest challenge in the NBA.

Incredible. Hate that I missed it but hopefully I will find a link to rewatch the game tonight.

I don't know, it's probably a toss up for me. That win at Indiana was pretty special. They were absolutely unbeatable at home and we had just given them a sound drubbing in Phoenix that was universally written off as an anomaly. They came out to prove something to us but we pretty much outplayed them from the opening tap on. Tonight's win was a lot of fun though. It's always nice when you can just steamroll a team that's had your number all night.

Fantastic Suns win. My 1st-team All-NBA ballot right now: Durant + Lebron (F), Noah (C), Curry + Dragic (G). 6 weeks to go.
That's accurate.

Yea but Indiana hasn't looked that special since we beat them. Miami is gonna dominate them in the playoffs imo.

Frye hasn't done anything in a while now. So no, please don't insult the Morris twins by putting him on that list.

It should be an interesting match-up.

Adams looks much further along than Len right now. I'm sure some of it is the offseason and the extra 750 minutes that Adams has played but he looked better in his first minutes than Alex does right now.
Len: 6 pts, 3 rebounds, 5 fouls and -11 in 11 mins.

Adams: 0 pts, 1 rebound, 2 fouls and +12 in 11 mins.

I guess nobody really "won" this match up.

Its only a matter of time before you start one of your posts demanding the twins should be traded again... Which was my point. He may have sucked for about 3 games but the Suns are not where they are right now without Frye.

Frye and Dragic PnR is one of the most efficient combo..even when he cant seem to buy a bucket, drawing the bigs out allows others to drive, not to mention his improvement on defense.

How could you not?
I honestly didn't know/think he would mature into what he has. I have a lot of respect for his game, dude can run the court and distribute to who's hot. He has some lock down moves and can penetrate when they try to shut down his J. I think I was just butt hurt because Nash got old to tell you the truth. This year's team has me eating a lot of words though.

Yeah, it's been a blast to see how far he's progressed this year. Grantland did a piece on how he's improved every season. Here, found it:

Nice try but I have never said we should trade the Morris twins. I have been Kieff's biggest supporter for the past 3 years.

Frye's sucked for more than 3 games.

Nice try though. And Frye's defense is still pretty bad.

Chris Paul is the best guard in the NBA, how could he not be on the all-nba team.
Because its based on this season, and Paul's missed too much time to be qualified in the eyes of many.

Healthy I'd agree he's probably the best guard in the NBA but I'm not sure he's 15 games better than Goran. Paul has missed 19 games and IMO you're better off with the second best guard for 78 games than you are the best guard for 63 games. I'm not pushing Goran as the second best guard but whatever he is I'd rather have him for almost every game than Paul for a little more than 75% of the games especially if you're just talking about regular season value.
