The more that I look at the qb's coming out in this draft the more I think about the idea of sending one of our 6th round picks to the Jets for Tebow. Here are my reasons why.
1. We have two coaches now that are known for coaching up quarterbacks in Arians and Moore.
2. There isn't a more gifted and athletic QB in this draft than Tebow.
3. Tebow can run and make plays when the pocket breaks down.
4. Tebow has a great arm to make all the throws.
5. Tebow is a winner. He finds a way to come back and win.
6. He beat the Steelers in the playoffs.
7. He now has two years of NFL coaching.
8. He has a great faith and believes in himself.
9. We can get him cheap. 6th rounder maybe.
10. If Moore and Arians can coach him up with his great talent we could have the next John Elway.
11. Who else can we get that has that much talent this year at QB.
12. He is well liked by his teammates.
13. He helps his community

The bad on Tebow is that he wasn't very accurate his first and only year starting.
He was loved by the media and talked about on every sports show daily.
Some may not like that he believes in God but you have to respect the faith he has and how humble he is because of it.

yes, we might need a runningback but there is a vast amount of QBs even in this draft who are more talented as a QUARTERBACK...you know, reading a defense, proper mechanics to throw an accurate pass on a consistent basis...those special qualities :)

I'm actually a fan of Tebow the person, but #'s 2, 4, 10 & 11 are not factual statements. I would love to know what Arians thinks of Tebow. Someone is going to grab this guy for almost nothing. Accuracy issues in the NFL are almost ALWAYS a career ender. I'd love to see the guy do well, but ?????????

I don't care what anyone says about Tebow, most people can't stand him because of his Christian faith, but to me, I actually said that we should of drafted him coming out of college in the Cardinals forums and I was bashed HEAVILY. Is he a great QB? Of course he's not. But he will work his ass off more than ANYONE else on your team AND HE IS A WINNER. When will Arizona fans grasp that? I don't care about completion percentage, accuracy, QBR, WHATEVER. He wins. PERIOD. With that being said, he is not an Arians guy.

I'd agree with much of what you stated, especially regarding his Christian faith. I'd also agree with you that he doesn't fit Arian's QB mold. Personally, I hope he proves everyone wrong, just pretty sure it won't be in AZ.

A 'winner', as you say, would have been granted at least one start in NY in place of that unmtigated disaster, Sanchez.

(When are Tebowfiles going to finally grasp that he simply does not have the tools for the position at an NFL Network.)

Don't care if he's Christian, Jewish, Hindu or Pagan - he fairly or unfairly is a magnet for distracting media attention that we really don't need right now.

And there's this matter of not being very good operating under center.

If the Cards were serious about converting to a zone-read direct-snap offense and if the FO was confident that they could deal with the circus coming to town, I could see value in Tebow coming here as one component of a new offensive system - maybe as a passing-RB - (but in no way the "lead"-component). But realistically, I don't see even a remote chance of that happening.

Perhaps you could start your own personal crusade to educate all us poor little Arizona fans.

And then there are the legions of fanboys that love him and think he should be starting based on the fact that he shoves his Christianity into every possible situation.

Fact is, he stinks. He is not a NFL QB.

Personally, and I can only speak for myself, I could give a rats patoot about his christian faith. I judge NO ONE for either being or not being one. Seems a lot of people of faith like to talk about how persecuted they are for their faith. I would COMPLETELY disagree. I think y'all are persecuted for being so gawldarned obnoxious about it.

I dont run around waving my athiest flag, and i think most Christians would find themselves far more accepted and appreciated and even respected, if theyd tone down the rhetoric a bit, and just live and let live.

I think there's a reason he isn't starting, he simply doesn't read and throw very well. Now he does have a knack in the 4th quarter. He does have a knack to break down the defense with his mobility and finding an open guy. But I don't think he is really an NFL QB.

I disagree about him on the Jets. The disaster warranted using Tebow. Sanchez sucks, I never liked him. But they also had McElroy. Either way, McElroy and Tebow should have started, it was because of the money Sanchez started. Sunk cost is a sunk cost, but morons always like to prove their sunk cost isn't sunk until it is proven it is sunk. People of medium intellect know better. Tebow or McElroy gave the Jets a better chance to win than Sanchez.

Still take Tebow over any of our QB's though. But if we want to go the ultra cheap route we probably pick up Stanton

No, most people cant stand Tebow because all of his followers that cant understand that his is a terrible QB but we need to give him a chance because he is such a swell guy.. And his followers go out their way to push this in everyones face on a regular basis.. He's a great guy, I get it.. But he is not a NFL QB.. Im here to watch my team win, not employee players based on likability..

Tim Tebow will be scooped up by Bill Belichick and used as a TE and a situational wildcat QB. Tebow gets reunited with the coach who drafted Tebow, Josh McDaniels, the Patriots' OC.

No, no, no, no, NO. Arians mold of QB is a vertical down the field passer. There is no form of game in Tim Tebow that fits the BA mold. Its a terrible fit and I know would never happen

That is a great guess. I could see that happening.

Tough crowd. My thoughts were if Tom Moore and arians are so good at training QB's could they train a guy like Tebow or even Skelton who have a lot of talent but have not been that accurate to be great or even good QB's. I believe if they are that good at teaching they should be able to mold a guy into a good QB.

Thing is is that at least Skelton has the arm for Arians and Moore. Tebow doesn't
