No.

You are kidding.

EDIT:

WOW! Not kidding.

Be back....going to do some research on Tom Pratt.

Tom "flippin'" Moore! - Turned a solid single the Cardinals hit with Tom Arians, and turned it into a grand slam. Tom Moore is top of the food chain coaching. Larry Fitzgerald must have a smile on his face while he is sleeping.

Hmm..... All I can find on Tom Pratt is he was some kind of pass rushing specialist coach. He was used by the Steelers here and there, and was a coach under Hank Stram (65 Toss Power Trap).

.....Tom Moore. This might be the most out of no where surprise in Cardinal history....I mean holy moly that is HUGE.

Well, I will give Michael Bidwill this, he wanted to fix the offense, well he has the man that can do it. If Tom Moore can't turn the ship around, the Cards should just give up.

How old is that guy anyway? Seems like the Cards went from young, up-coming talent on coaching to 'the same ol' re-treads.'

Let's not kid ourselves - Peyton Manning WAS the Indy Colts. Without him, the team was below average and the coaching staff unimpressive.

Really? You're finding something wrong with this? Tom Moore crafted that offense and made Peyton the dynamic field general he is today. Manning didn't suddenly show up as a rookie and create his own offense. This isn't a "retread," it's a hire of an established, respected coach with a ton of experience getting it done the right way.

Wow I dont think anyone doubts Peyton was the big key but other then that, I am not sure you know very much about Tom Moore and his role with PM.

This is a great hire. Jurecki also mentioned Alex Gibbs potentially as a consultant for OL. THAT would be awesome.

CBS reports former Colts OC Tom Moore will be a part of Bruce Arians' staff in Arizona.

Moore wanted to get back in the coordinating game after consulting in Tennessee last season, but will serve as an assistant head coach to Bruce Arians. With Arians' OC Harold Goodwin being more of a line-play specialist, Moore should have heavy input on game-planning. An NFL assistant since 1977, Moore has over 20 years of coordinating experience, and is one of the most respected passing experts in the game.

??????

What on earth is going on.

This is NOT, I repeat NOT, a criticism.

Tom Moore, 74

Tom Pratt, 76

Alex Gibb, 69

With all the respect in the world for the wealth of football knowledge these men have, it is like having an all-star football retirement home in AZ.

Damn, Bidwill should advertise, and get some more talent in here.

I guess when Bruce Arians said he had connections this is what he meant. Those are three gentlemen whom have had an insane amount of success in the NFL. INSANE amount.

If you cannot respect those three guys then you are just plain arrogant.

Let me beat Gee to the punch.

Is he bringing Peyton Manning with him? No. Two years.

Wow, MB isn't screwing around.

Right ?

I was all like

"blah, blah, blah, The Cardinals are doing the right thing, and being conservative, blah, blah, blah they got solid coaches with good back grounds. blah, blah, blah.

This ?

This is crazy. Very smart, yet outside the box.

Wow, just wow.

I mean, does it not work ? Maybe, but for now I am just excited. The potential for a turn around is there for all to see.

Any player on the roster right now, should be DYING to get back to work. Anything you can pick up from these guys is stuff that works, cause if it didn't they wouldn't still be consulting and working in the NFL after 20+ years.

I'm really excited that we'll have both Tom and Bruce on staff when finding our QBOF. These guys have been around a long time and I trust they know what to look for in a good signal caller.

it hasnt been mentioned much here, but I also like the Cardinals are the only team with both coordinators being African American.

Nice to see my team being that progressive especially with MLK day tomorrow.

Saying that it doenst matter if they are black, white, yellow, or blue really. Just Win Baby.

Cardinals are the most progressive team in the NFL IMO. They clearly have no aversion to minorities. That's a good thing.

Wonder if we would have won the Peyton sweepstakes last year if we had this staff last year?

Bet we would have.

Doc, do you have any info on Pratt?

None first hand...... But the plan to have a coach just for the pass rush means that we will probably bring the house just as much IMO.

Maybe it will also give more focus to containing the edge when we see the pistol or read-option. We know we will see it 4 times a year for the next decade. So we better be damn good at it!
