Wonder if we would have won the Peyton sweepstakes last year if we had this staff last year?
Bet we would have.
We are always a year late to the party. lol

Thats the kind of coaching credibility that you hope comes in, grooms the young guys and teaches them how to be leaders. Culture change. MB is spending big on staff. Love it.
But dont forget, hes cheap, Keim is lowest paid GM in the league.
Looks like a great mix of young guys and SERIOUS veterans. I like it. A lot.
it hasnt been mentioned much here, but I also like the Cardinals are the only team with both coordinators being African American.
Nice to see my team being that progressive especially with MLK day tomorrow.
Saying that it doenst matter if they are black, white, yellow, or blue really. Just Win Baby.
None first hand...... But the plan to have a coach just for the pass rush means that we will probably bring the house just as much IMO.
Maybe it will also give more focus to containing the edge when we see the pistol or read-option. We know we will see it 4 times a year for the next decade. So we better be damn good at it!
Pop Quiz- name the only team in the NFL that has had a staff that consisted of a Black American General Manager AND a Black American Head Coach?

He's been coaching (mainly in KC for like forever). Started in the early 1960's - when Buck Buchanon was still playing.Article says Tom Pratt as a pass-rush specialist. Any bones on him?

More recently, has been tutoring NFL D-line prospects for IMG's football academy. Worked with Herzlicht leading up to his draft.
Like Moore - has forgotten more than most coaches know.

Feeling a lot better. One caveat - along with these wise old senior heads added to the coaching staff, I hope we blend in a bunch of high-energy young guns who can relate to guys in their twenties and thirties. How awesome would that be?
Coaching staff in general. Just looking for a good mix. & I wouldn't describe Goodwin and Bowles as "young pups" (both have pretty lengthy resumes).Isn't that what Goodwin and Bowels are? Or are you speaking about the position coaches?

Jurecki just tweeted me back. He was just speculating on Fridays show about Alex Gibbs, nothing more.
The best thing about having an older coaching staff is that they want to win now. They aren't building for the future, they want to win now.
Wow I dont think anyone doubts Peyton was the big key but other then that, I am not sure you know very much about Tom Moore and his role with PM.
This is a great hire. Jurecki also mentioned Alex Gibbs potentially as a consultant for OL. THAT would be awesome.
