I think they would give him up if we added Tyler Ennis who they still covet.

I'd do it. Lucas Nogueira is a very fluid big man that immediately caught my eye the minute he stepped on the court.

Nogueira and Ennis must be almost equal regarding their values.

Why add Plumlee for nothing?

Young promising bigs typically hold more value than young promising guards, especially these days where high quality point guards are so abundant. Even if Toronto has the hots for Ennis, I don't think they'd take that trade straight up.

I do think that Plumlee is still a valuable player but I doubt that the Rockets would trade Terrence Jones straight-up for him.

I really can't find out any sweeteners that may add-up to the difference.

If they say no to that, I'd offer IT/Plumlee for Terry/Jones/Capela/Pelicans 1st rd pick.

Capela would actually be a good fit as a 3rd string C locked up for a while and a guy who won't complain about minutes.

Pelicand pick gives the Suns a valuable asset that they can use to move up in the draft or use in a trade with other assets for someone else.

Terry is an expiring contract and can either be traded for a 2nd rd pick or probably be bought out so he can sign elsewhere.

The Plumlee -Jones swap did already favour the Suns.

Adding IT for Terry, Capela and NOP pick does even more.

If it's without the NOP pick, then the Rockets maybe, maybe will consider it. Otherwise, it's no chance, IMO.

I don't even see why we would want Jones, he has injury problems and does not really add anything, he is a small power forward. Kind of similiar to Markieff, Marcus and Warren.

Plumlee for Capela I would consider.

I don't really see why we should have any intention of trading a center who has shown he can play in the NBA and is still on a rookie contract unless we get full value or more for him.

It is not like Plumlee does not have a role on this team.

Jones right now would be a backup PF. He is a bit taller than Markieff with a bigger wingspan and I believe he is more athletic as well.

So we would have a younger backup PF who actually would play instead of Plumlee who wouldn't and doesn't.

I could see Portland perhaps going after Brook Lopez now. It would pair him with his brother and also give them some much needed help in the front court.

Something along the lines of Batum, Robinson, McCollum + pick(s) while being willing to taking on Jarret Jack's contract I suppose.

At least the refs could tell them apart. :)

Dragic for Monroe? PHX gets a half year to see how a rebounder can make a difference to a frontcourt. If Monroe proves to be what the doctor ordered then re-sign him, if not he's a FA.

We'd have to dump quite a bit of salary to clear space to sign him. I'd probably make the deal if Goran wants out but otherwise no.

Goran's play lately indicates he isn't exactly looking forward to staying here.

The situations are obviously different in regard to the quality of player personnel (comparing it to the Cavaliers) but I do think a balanced roster might help the Suns. The Suns have too many parts that seem redundant especially in regards to guards and wings. If I were going to change the Suns (leaving coaching out of the equation) I would try to add a consistent SG and a PF that can score inside. Obviously both of these pieces may not be available now. However, I must say, I am concerned about the Suns coaching with the current roster. Defense and rebounding do not seem to be the Suns priority. Also team chemistry has gone by the wayside.

Dragic - $7.5M
Green - $3.5M
Wright - $2.5M

That's $13.5M coming off the books, which is a pretty significant amount of coin they could offer. But, that's if he proves to be the piece they've been missing, if not let him go and offer the money to Love.

I'd listen. The way things are playing out, I don't see Dragic wanting to stay with the Suns.
