It's pretty clear we're western conference favorites in the tank-a-thon playoffs. The Nets are our eastern conference rivals, but a lot of other teams will enter the hunt as the season progresses. It's best to get ahead of the game and actively find trade partners for Bledsoe and Chandler. We can take a bad contract or two if we get enough back. I'd be fine including Bender in any deal because he is a definitely a bust. Chriss added muscle, but he hasn't improved his game and fouls just as much as last year. His ceiling is a lot lower than we thought when we drafted him and is therefore expendable if need be.

We should make the most of it by shedding guys that don't fit the timeline and pick up pieces that make sense. Realistically, we will probably be bad next year but shouldn't "tank." In two years ('19-'20) I think we'll begin showing measurable improvement.
