My question is who are our starters with HB out... HB plays a variety of roles but I think with two games left, it would be a good time to search for a vet capable of playing a nickel role with some time to learn the system for the playoffs, and watch that CFL guy we brought in be signed now lol

Will have to be a combo of players... I could see Bethel and Powers trading off between corner and the Badger role...

But that still puts us low at the CB position because other guys could get hurt (just saying) and again a guy like the CFL guy they brought in or some other vet unknown as yet is brought in opposed to a undrafted young guy floating between a practice squad

Can there be a silver lining with HB? This is the right knee. His previous injury was his left. They say that players are coming back stronger than ever once they've completely rehabbed the injury. I'm sure the kid has played football from a young age. Maybe it was just wear & tear that caused the knee to buckle like that. Have the surgery, rehab & maybe both knees will then be bolstered for the long haul. I just love how this kid has turned his life around. So he won't be 100% next season, but he should be brand new in 2017. Let's hope for the best, but understand that he'll work his ass off & come back better than ever.
