Pretty simple, they still gotta Cardinal on their helmet and we've been through a lot together. I think that's the first time I've ever posted battered fan style.

ok

because I would rather be a get down and waller in the dirt naked Arizona Cardinals Football club fan than a fan for any of those other pieces of dung holes! Fans finest metal is forged in the flames of adversity- You can't break a Cards fan- Weve been tried and tested Our fortitude is unquestionable!

Thank God my room mate Patriots fan will never understand! Like Civilians never understand a soldiers burden- They carry that burden so their families don't have to and pray that they never truely understand!

This Season is a greek tragedy but Graves and Whiz hasn't got a clue going forward- and that is even worse- Yest to see either accept any responsibility - ever like Say Andy Reid- If thr players would just cover 2 gaps at a time and do the impossible like our SB squad that wasn't ressigned but kicked in the nuts every chance possible!

I'm getting poisnous again - signing off now

can someone convince me why I should be rooting for us to win?

We shouldnt be rooting for this team. Losses and higher draft picks are now assets that this team needs to collect. Season ticket holders should seriously reconsider renewing their tickets. That will get the Bidwills attention.

You've misunderstood me. There is nothing this team has done to deserve to be rooted for. They have let the fan base down from FO down to players. This team needs help and you must understand where the help comes from. Dont let pride stand in the way of improving your football team. Be smarter than that.

Just change the channle whenever we got to offense. I gaurantee you will root for our defense, and we can't give up on them they all we got.

Do you see anything in the history of this franchise that leads you to believe that making them less profitable will cause them to conduct business smarter? Your way will just lead to cost cutting, in all areas, and us die-hard fans will be left with even less to cheer for. If you don't want to be a fan, fine, stop being a fan and that is certainly an understandable action on your part. But, if you're going to actively recruit other people in an effort to sabotage this franchise, I'm no fan of yours.

Nice try on a personal attack but you are way off track. I'm certainly not going to spout off and try to prove how big a fan I am. I know this team just as well as anyone on this board if not better. Fans speak with their wallet. If revenues go down, ownership is forced to make a change. This is basic business. This is in no way a sabotage of anything, however you must understand that wins do NOTHING for this franchise right now. They should be regrouping and loading up with as much ammo for next year as possible; high draft picks (trade value) cutting or restructuring bad contracts and opening up $$ for future FA's, giving fans something to look forward to.
I'm sorry my comments offended you and you took it personally and decided to attack me but this is where fans let emotion get in the way. If you want to continue to be a "die hard" fan and watch this garbage that is your right. However changes must be made. The Bidwills are more interested in the bottom line than wins. Get their attention by shaking up the bottom line.

I'm sorry you consider that a personal attack, I certainly don't. I made my case for why I disagreed with you and then I offered a hypothetical situation that I stand by. IF, IF , IF, you think it's appropriate to try and talk other fans into not being fans, then I am no fan of you. That's pretty simple to understand and it is by no means a personal attack. I love the Cards and I can understand anyone else's frustration with them but I've seen what this organization does when it has profit and cash flow problems and I don't want to return to those days.

Oh that's right, I forgot once we put 2 and 2 together, we are uncapable of grasping the intelligence you bestow upon us, and we are in the end, ignorant for thinking we understood what you said.

Hoping your team loses is a loser attitude in my opinion. I always root for a win and always will.

No guarantee a higher pick does anything for you. However, playing better and winning some games does instill confidence and hope for the future.

Never forget Dawg that there is a season and there are games. Each game is taken individually as well as in its context of the current season. Forget draft position it never helps us anyway. If there's a Cardinal game kicking off I want them to win it and will be 100% behind them.

Of course when you've watched them go 5-11 for 45 years that's the only way you can take it.

But if they stink it up they'll hear about from me on here. And if anyone thinks what we write here is meaningless you haven't been paying close attention to the stuff Somers and Bickley and others write. They're always stealing stuff from ASFN. :p

All I know is that there has never been a better game for Whisenhunt haters. Virtually guaranteed that by the end of day, he is either the jackass that coached this team to its ninth straight loss or the absolute knucklehead that benched the QB that just beat the hags on their home field. They've got him coming or going.

I thought about this all week and I agree. Skelton will play well and Whiz will be bashed for not having played him the last few games. Or, Skelton will play poorly and Whiz will be blamed for being the reason John lost his game (or his confidence or whatever). One way or the other, Whiz will be blamed. Not that I feel too sorry for him, one way or the other he's had a lot to do with putting us in this position. I still like the guy and think he draws way too much criticism but he is far from blameless in this mess.

One of the best posts ever, because this is what happens to a franchise as fragile as the Cardinals when the fans turn on them...they will get worse and not better. The whole "we'll teach those Bidwills a lesson" is complete nonsense. Teach them what when they know everything they choose to know. The Bidwills have owned this team for since forever, they will endure anything the fans think they can teach them. Yes, players get a paycheck but that does not inspire the players. If I played for the Cardinals, the fans caring would be the only thing which would inspire me to try when I know ownership cannot figure out what a quarterback is. One kid in the stands wearing a Cardinal jersey yelling encouragement to a young player like Washington, though he is in a no win situation at the moment, goes a long way to giving him purpose.

Bidwills

Bill Bidwill is my hero- He is not at fault for giving Whiz top coaching money after our first SB ever! Whiz is not earning it and needs to hand the reigns back to a strong GM - not Graves! Like Buddy Ryan refused too!

We have lived this before with Buddy Ryan- and i supported Lil Billy then too- Buddy had just went to the playoffs every year in a row with 10 win seasons- in OUR division- Yea you hoire the man and give him personnell powers- Yes you extend Whiz and give him personnell powers - YES YES YES YES YES-

Bill has not been cheap since up stadium- and has fullfilled his Owner skill sets and responsibilities as an owner- Always thinking of the NFL as whole first- cause when he started the NFL was not a sure thingy- We did not have a home stadium for the 1st hundred years-

Jerry Jones has put himself out there on the new stadium for the good of the NFL as a whole- and has more of my respect for it- but it is nothing compared to the blood sweat and tears Bill Bidwill has invested in the NFL over his lifetime- He has forgot more about Pro football than most will ever know.

Just because Whiz bit off ore than he can chew on the new contract does not mean Bill or Michael Bidwill for taking the risk and offering the oppurtunity.
Horton is Whiz's best move but He may not be ready for the most difficult HC postion in the NFL.
