I don't agree. That call was the difference in the game. How anyone can argue otherwise is beside me.
Exactly

You can't hit the defender in the knees on that play and not get grounding. And if he does what you say and it's tipped and picked you're going to say what a stupid decision. He protected the ball there that's what you are supposed to do.
He can't throw the ball away there by rule, he has to to throw to a receiver and there wasn't one. It was clear as day on the replay Beanie wasn't there yet when Kolb had to make up his mind.
you're right. Th eplayer gave himslef up as he was trying for more yardage but tripped. WTFWe have a new #1 for the long list of ridiculous calls that have gone against Arizona.
We have a new #1 for the long list of ridiculous calls that have gone against Arizona. Remember when it got so bad that one game in SDS the fans started pelting the field with water bottles and cups?
That was the only time I've ever thought that was the right thing to do.
Because Jerome Boger is a horrible ref.How the heck can seasoned refs make the wrong call in that situation? Yup, I hate zebras.
The game is over if they make the correct call. We have the ball and the lead.
That call changed the outcome of the game, can anybody be surprised the defense gave up the TD after that call knowing it was our ball?
No way they call grounding if he throws into the defender. Either way you cant take a sack there at 2nd and 1.
Yes they do, these are the same refs who called the fumble "giving himself up."
He protected teh ball, the problem was the timing of the play as both announcers clearly said, the OL let the guys in too fast. If you watch the replay Levi does an OLE move on Osi and actually pushed him forward from behind.
10 point lead with a little over 5 minutes left. Should have never been in that position in the first place. Put the blame where it belongs; the clueless coaching staff.
And that is why the Cardinals cannot successfully run a screen pass.
Couldn't have been said any better. That play CHANGED the game. Could you imagine if that happened in say,a New England/Jets game or something like that. It would be th lead of every sports show in the country.No. I won't.
There is no way, shape or form that wasn't the worst blown call I have ever seen on a football field.
Yes, our team didn't play well, but neither did the Giants. They screwed up and the refs covered for them.
It was a total screw job. I feel bad for our team cause they just got hosed.
We can talk about how the game was lost in the 1st half, and how our QB is playing horrible in other threads.
But in this game? The Cardinals got screwed, big time.
