You can't hit the defender in the knees on that play and not get grounding. And if he does what you say and it's tipped and picked you're going to say what a stupid decision. He protected the ball there that's what you are supposed to do.

He can't throw the ball away there by rule, he has to to throw to a receiver and there wasn't one. It was clear as day on the replay Beanie wasn't there yet when Kolb had to make up his mind.

No way they call grounding if he throws into the defender. Either way you cant take a sack there at 2nd and 1.

Yeah we got screwed but there's still no excuse for losing this game. We needed the D to step up and play like men and they tripped over their skirts. Then, when we needed the O to step and play like men, they got their cleats stuck in their panty hose.

We have a new #1 for the long list of ridiculous calls that have gone against Arizona. Remember when it got so bad that one game in SDS the fans started pelting the field with water bottles and cups?

That was the only time I've ever thought that was the right thing to do.

Is everything
I'm sure the refs would have ruled the same way if Cruz had gotten up and ran to the endzone for a TD instead of dropping the ball. :sarcasm:

So this will be the 2nd letter of apology from the league office to the Cardinals in four games? Maybe we should look at the quality of officiating?

I agree with you guys. The refs have been ****en terrible this season. How the heck can seasoned refs make the wrong call in that situation? Yup, I hate zebras.

The league sets up the rules to protect it's zebras. Thats exactly why that rule ins't reviewable...bet it is next year.

The refs had no idea what happened when it did, so after huddling when Wiz threw the flag, they made that **** up "he gave himself up" :biglaugh: WTF ever!!! That call covers there ass

The game is over if they make the correct call. We have the ball and the lead.

That call changed the outcome of the game, can anybody be surprised the defense gave up the TD after that call knowing it was our ball?

Uhm...no? Especially after Eli waltzed down the field for the first TD to bring them with in 3. This defense is beyond spineless, we could easily be 0-4 because this group of chokes can't put away a damn game 9 out of 10 times. You'd think Wilson, Dock, and Campbell would be sick of throwing away games after our epic Super Bowl metldown, but no. So annoyed with this defense. We should seriously cut everyone besides Patrick, Daryl, Dan and start over. I love Dock and CC but I think some kind of voodoo curse went down in the Super Bowl loss and we need that evil off our team.

Not serious about the voodoo curse, but come back to me in 4-5 weeks when we are still in the luck sweepstakes and I might start believing it.

Yes they do, these are the same refs who called the fumble "giving himself up."

He protected teh ball, the problem was the timing of the play as both announcers clearly said, the OL let the guys in too fast. If you watch the replay Levi does an OLE move on Osi and actually pushed him forward from behind.

And that is why the Cardinals cannot successfully run a screen pass.

Once again, Jerome, the worst referee in the NFL, screws us again.

Every single damn time this guy is our referee some crap like this always happens.

10 point lead with a little over 5 minutes left. Should have never been in that position in the first place. Put the blame where it belongs; the clueless coaching staff.

No. I won't.

There is no way, shape or form that wasn't the worst blown call I have ever seen on a football field.

Yes, our team didn't play well, but neither did the Giants. They screwed up and the refs covered for them.

It was a total screw job. I feel bad for our team cause they just got hosed.

We can talk about how the game was lost in the 1st half, and how our QB is playing horrible in other threads.

But in this game? The Cardinals got screwed, big time.

I just went over this a few weeks ago or so with a thread about this.

As a fan, in a crucial situation I would shred the pages with screens in them for any crucial game situations.

Apparently Whiz has more confidence than I do in them, but should he?

When we say we shouldn't have been in that position in the first place, we make it sound like we should be dominating the Giants. Sure, we didn't have the redzone efficiency we should have, but we're a rebuilding team. And if we get the right call, the game is over. We were up by 3 and caused a turnover, but the ref thought otherwise. The Giants are a solid team and we played them well.

The refs find another rule no one uses or heard of and twist it to work for the Giants.

They got a call from the NFL and they reminded them that the NY team has to win so find a way.

It is just like the Buffalo wild wings commercials.

Couldn't have been said any better. That play CHANGED the game. Could you imagine if that happened in say,a New England/Jets game or something like that. It would be th lead of every sports show in the country.
